    Komposit merupakan salah satu jenis bahan yang dibuat dengan penggabungan dua atau lebih macam bahan yang mempunyai sifat berbeda menjadi satu material baru dengan sifat yang berbeda pula. Komposit merupakan salah satu material yang mempunyai banyak kelebihan antara lain tahan terhadap korosi, mempunyai rasio kekuatan terhadap berat yang tinggi, mudah di bentuk dan proses pembuatan sangat sederhana. Dari kelebihan tersebut akhirnya komposit banyak di gunakan sebagai pengganti misalnya pembuatan tangki, pipa-pipa yang biasa digunakan di pabrik- pabrik kimia. Akhir-akhir ini komposit dikembangkan di dunia otomotif (transportasi) dan bahan bangunan. Salah satu bahan penyusun antara lain resin, serat, dan partikel keramik. Sehingga komposit dapat menjadi material baru sebagai pengganti logam. Pembuatan komposit dilakukan di Laboratorium Teknologi Terapan Jurusan Teknik Mesin, Fakultas Teknik Universitas Jember. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai pada bulan Desember sampai dengan bulan februari 2016. Metode yang digunakan adalah Filament winding. Variabel yang digunakan meliputi variasi partikel ukuran mesh 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 150 dengan matrik polyester berpenguat serat wol, sedangkan parameter yang diamati adalah kekuatan tarik, dan struktur makro serta mikro patahan. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi ukuran partikel terhadap nilai kekuatan tarik pipa komposit berpenguat serat wol dengan aditif partikel MMT dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi ukuran partikel terhadap morfologi pipa komposit berpenguat serat wol dengan aditif partikel MMT setelah diuji tarik

If talking about the port, then talking about ship. In addition to being used as a means of sea transportation, the vessel is also used in the process of loading and unloading at the port. In the implementation of constraints in the process of loading and unloading is still exist. The obstacle that occur in process unloading, among others, the occurrence of damage to the unloading equipment and clumping on the load carried the bulk fertilizer. Then through these obstacles, the author takes the title “effort of overcome the delay unloading process of bulk fertilizer on MV. Ibrahim Zahier”. In the theoretical foundation contains some theory which is like the definition of loading and unloading which is an activity of load or unload with using crane/conveyor or the other equipment. In accordance with scientific principles, in the writing of this essay, the author uses the method of research that is USG method ((Urgency, seriously, growth) with using data collection techniques, i.e. by observation, interview and literature study on the MV. Ibrahim Zahier during the implementation sea project. Form the results of research during the implementation of sea project on vessel, the authors found an obstacle which result in delay in the process of loading and unloading of bulk fertilizer. The damage to unloading equipment is due to lack of regular maintenance and company delay in spending spare part. For clumping on the load caused by contaminated loads with water and poorly maintained fertilizer quality. The conclusion of the research is that the process of unloading the cargo on MV. Ibrahim Zahier is not always running smoothly. The delay constraints caused by the damage to unloading equipment and clumping on the load. For that by doing regular maintenance and compacting the existing load, then the process of unloading is expected run smoothly. Key word : delay time, tool breakdown

    Composite is one kind of material created by the merger of two or more kinds of materials that have different properties into one new materials with different properties. Composites are also widely used in the automotive industry. The use of composite particles of montmorillonite (MMT) is expected to contribute to the development of alternative materials made from clay. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of particle size variation of the value of the tensile strength of the pipe Composite wool fibers with additive MMT particles, determine the effect of particle size variation of the morphology Composite pipe wool fibers with additive MMT particles after the drop test. The method used is the method of filament winding. For the testing standards used for tensile tests using ASTM D 2290. From the test results can be concluded that there are significant variations in particle size (MMT) against the tensile strength values with an average value of 20 = 49.08 MPa mesh, mesh 40 = 63.86 MPa, mesh 60 = 107.21 MPa, 138.78 MPa = 80 mesh, 100 mesh = 167.58 MPa, 120 = 190.05 mesh, mesh 150 = 210.89 MPa

    A comparison of tri-polar concentric ring electrodes to disc electrodes for decoding real and imaginary finger movements

    2019 Spring.Includes bibliographical references.The electroencephalogram (EEG) is broadly used for diagnosis of brain diseases and research of brain activities. Although the EEG provides a good temporal resolution, it suffers from poor spatial resolution due to the blurring effects of volume conduction and signal-to-noise ratio. Many efforts have been devoted to the development of novel methods that can increase the EEG spatial resolution. The surface Laplacian, which is the second derivative of the surface potential, has been applied to EEG to improve the spatial resolution. Tri-polar concentric ring electrodes (TCREs) have been shown to estimate the surface Laplacian automatically with better spatial resolution than conventional disc electrodes. The aim of this research is to study how well the TCREs can be used to acquire EEG signals to decode real and imaginary finger movements. These EEG signals will be then translated into finger movements commands. We also compare the feasibility of discriminating finger movements from one hand using EEG recorded from TCREs and conventional disc electrodes. Furthermore, we evaluated two movement-related features, temporal EEG data and spectral features, in discriminating individual finger from one hand using non-invasive EEG. To do so, movement-related potentials (MRPs) are measured and analyzed from four TCREs and conventional disc electrodes while 13 subjects performed either motor execution or motor imagery of individual finger movements. The tri-polar-EEG (tEEG) and conventional EEG (cEEG) were recorded from electrodes placed according to the 10-20 International Electrode Positioning System over the motor cortex. Our results show that the TCREs achieved higher spatial resolution than conventional disc electrodes. Moreover, the results show that signals from TCREs generated higher decoding accuracy compared to signals from conventional disc electrodes. The average decoding accuracy of five-class classification for all subjects was of 70.04 ± 7.68% when we used temporal EEG data as feature and classified it using Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) classifier. In addition, the results show that the TCRE EEG (tEEG) provides approximately a four times enhancement in the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) compared to disc electrode signals. We also evaluated the interdependency level between neighboring electrodes from tri-polar, disc, and disc with Hjorth's Laplacian method in time and frequency domains by calculating the mutual information (MI) and coherence. The MRP signals recorded with the TCRE system have significantly less mutual information (MI) between electrodes than the conventional disc electrode system and disc electrodes with Hjorth's Laplacian method. Also, the results show that the mean coherence between neighboring tri-polar electrodes was found to be significantly smaller than disc electrode and disc electrode with Hjorth's method, especially at higher frequencies. This lower coherence in the high frequency band between neighboring tri polar electrodes suggests that the TCREs may record a more localized neuronal activity. The successful decoding of finger movements can provide extra degrees of freedom to drive brain computer interface (BCI) applications, especially for neurorehabilitation

    INDONESIA: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sistem pengawasan yang digunakan Badan Permusyawaratan Desa terhadap pembangunan infastruktur Desa Tri Tunggal Bhakti Kecamatan Muara Sahung Kabupaten Kaur Provinsi Bengkulu. Penulis menggunakan Undang Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2014 Tentang Desa sebagai acuan dari pembahasan ini. Jenis metode penelitian ini adalah yuridis empiris dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan (statue approach) dan (case approach) dimana data akan dianalisis dengan analisis yuridis kualitatif dan disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini yaitu Pertama, sistem pengawasan yang digunakan Badan Permusyawaratan Desa dalam pembangunan infrastruktur desa Tri Tunggal Bhakti berdasarkan Undang Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa ialah menggunakan sistem pengawasan pendahuluan, Sistem pengawasan pada saat kerja berlangsung, dan evasluasi. Ketiga sistem pengawasan tersebut telah digunakan oleh Badan Permusyawaratan Desa di desa Tri Tunggal Bhakti dalam melakukan kegiatan pengawasan pembangunan infrastruktur di desa. Kedua, Implementasi model pengawasan Badan Permusyawaratan Desa dalam pembangunan infrastruktur desa berdasarkan Undang Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa dinilai tidak efektif dalam implementasinya. Ketiga, Faktor-faktor kendala Badan Permusyawaratan Desa dalam melakukan pengawasan ialah sarana dan prasarana kantor yang tidak memadai, prasarana jalan yang belum mengalami pengerasan, dan Sumber daya manusia yang kurang mumpuni. Berdasakan temuan di atas, penulis memberi 2 (dua) rekomendasi yaitu pertama, perlu adanya sosialisasi tentang tugas pokok dan fungsi dan segala hal yang berkaitan dengan Badan Permusyawaratan Desa. Kedua, Perlu adanya edukasi berupa pentingnya pengawasan terhadap pelaksanaan pembangunan infrastruktur yang maksimal kepada seluruh anggota Badan Permusyawaratan Desa Tri Tunggal Bhakti dalam rangka untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya sistem dan model pengawasan dalam proses pembangunan infrastruktur. ENGLISH: This research is to find out the supervision system used by the Village Consultative Body for the development of the infrastructure of the Tri Tunggal Bhakti Village, Muara Sahung District, Kaur Regency, Bengkulu Province. The author uses Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages as a reference for this discussion. This type of research method is empirical juridical with statutory approach (statue approach) and (case approach) where the data will be analyzed with qualitative juridical analysis and presented in a descriptive qualitative form. The findings of this study are: First, the supervision system used by the Village Consultative Body in developing the infrastructure of the village of Tri Tunggal Bhakti based on Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages is to use a preliminary surveillance system, a monitoring system during work, and evacuation. The three supervision systems have been used by the Village Consultative Body in the village of Tri Tunggal Bhakti in carrying out supervision activities for infrastructure development in the village. Second, the implementation of the Village Consultative Body's supervision model in the development of village infrastructure based on Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages is considered ineffective in its implementation. Third, the obstacle factors of the Village Consultative Body in conducting supervision are inadequate office facilities and infrastructure, road infrastructure that has not been hardened, and inadequate human resources. Based on the above findings, the author gives 2 (two) recommendations, namely first, the need for socialization about the main tasks and functions and all matters relating to the Village Consultative Body. Second, education is needed in the form of the importance of supervision of the implementation of maximum infrastructure development to all members of the Tri Tunggal Bhakti Village Consultative Body in order to increase awareness of the importance of systems and models of supervision in the infrastructure development process.     One branch of Islamic education is history lesson. Through these lesson the students are expected to take the lessons of past stories especially related to Islam. However, today the students who like history lesson are very few because of boring, monotonous, and uninteresting. Besides that, today the Islamic world is experiencing a similar event with the time of Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi. The book of “Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi dan Perang Salib III” by Alwi Alatas is a historical book. The book content is about the educational values which could be emulated today. The book of “Salahuddin Al-Ayubi dan Perang Salib III” by Alwi Alatas as representatives story of the past to be used as research under the title The Educational Values of the Book of “Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi dan Perang Salib III” by Alwi Alatas. The goal of this research is to know (1) the educational values contained in the book of “Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi dan Perang Salib III”, (2) the writing method which is used by Alwi Alatas in the book of “Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi dan Perang Salib III”, (3) The way of author to convey the truth of the story in the book of “Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi dan Perang Salib III” to the reader. This research is a document research. The data analysis in this research is content analysis with historical approach. The data validity used (1) the perseverance of observer, (2) marking, (3) noting, (4) triangulation. The research results show that educational values contained in the book of “Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi dan Perang Salib III” by Alwi Alatas are moral value, awareness value, and religion value. Religion value can also be called with Divine (Ilahiah) value which is divided into: pious (imaniah) value, ubudiah value, muamalah value. In muamalah value there is multicultural value which are divided into: ummah value, rahmah (mercy) value, and musawah value. In composing the book of “Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi dan Perang Salib III”, Alwi Alatas using content analysis with historical approach. To convey the truth of the story in the book the author has fulfilled the general terms of the exposure of historical story (1) the author has the ability to express with good language, (2) the historical story unity, (3) presenting the evidence and make general lines which will be followed clearly by the reader thinking, (4) the whole exposure of history, should be argumentative

    INDONESIA: Matematika merupakan salah satu disiplin ilmu yang sangat berpengaruh pada disiplin ilmu lainnya. Salah satu cabang dari disiplin ilmu matematika adalah aljabar min-plus. Himpunan semua bilangan real R∪{+∞} yang dilengkapi dengan operasi minimum sebagai operasi penjumlahan dan operasi penjumlahan sebagai operasi pergandaan membentuk struktur aljabar yang dinamakan semiring idemponten. Dalam Aljabar sering terhubung dengan matriks, oleh karena penulis akan meneliti bagaimana bentuk matriks dan bagaimana sifat-sifat operasi min-plus pada matriks. Dalam kajian ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research) atau kajian pustaka, yakni melakukan penelitian untuk memperoleh data-data (berupa definisi atau teorema) yang berkenaan dengan pembahasan masalah tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui lebih dalam apa matriks atas aljabar min-plus pada matriks dan tau bagaimana sifat-sifat operasi min-plus pada matriks. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dari penelitian ini adalah Matriks atas aljabar min-plus (R_min)^nxn merupakan semi-ring idempotent dan setiap A,B,C (R_min)^nxn berlaku sifat-sifat berikut: i. Operasi ⊕ distributif terhadap operasi ⊕ ENGLISH: Mathematics is one of the disciplines that are very influential in other disciplines. One branch of mathematical disciplines are min-plus algebra. The set of all real numbers R∪{+∞} equipped with the minimum operations as the operations of addition and addition operations as multiplication operations form algebraic structure called idempontent of spring ring. Algebra is often connected with the matrix, and therefore the author will examine how the shape of the matrix and how the properties of min-plus operations onmatrices.     Conservation in an Islamic context a case study of Makkah

    The Holy Qu’ rān contains many injunctions for Muslims to respect and conserve the natural environment but few address the built environment. Habitat at the time of the Prophet (PBOH) was in the vernacular and relatively impermanent. The first habitat was the cave, the second the tent and then simple flat roofed buildings of post and lintel construction made of mud and rubble. Later buildings were not indigenous but reflected the architectural styles and techniques of Muslim pilgrims from beyond the Arabian Peninsula. Permanent exotic buildings were later erected as reminders of holy places and events. This work advances a case to restore and preserve historic and religious sites in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Makkah is the destination for millions of Muslim pilgrims who annually pay homage to Allah during the occasions of Hajj, Ramadan and Umra. The tranquillity and peaceful ambience that one associates with the holiest of Islamic experiences have, over the years, given way to jostling crowds of people who must be expediently housed, fed, transported, and protected. Due to the lack of planning and the insensitive but profitable development of the city, Makkah is in grave danger of becoming a bustling metropolis instead of a sanctuary where pilgrims gather to perform their religious rites and reaffirm their dedication to Allah. The author calls for professional planning and international cooperation to guide future development for this expanding and sensitive area. The author's ideas are grounded in practical and aesthetic study, therefore, the political, environmental and economic issues are examined in relationship to religious, historic and artistic values. The author makes proposals for a future Makkah that would provide pilgrims with the physical comforts, security, and serene environment they deserve—without destroying the city they came to visit. The author discusses preservation and conservation in the western world and the need for their acceptance in Muslim countries, the former being an aesthetic and intellectual concept sustained by law and the latter being the prescribed free expression of the individual unhindered by material considerations. Both worlds are rapidly being overwhelmed by materialism, but body, mind and spirit combine in making us aware of our surroundings and the way in what we see around us has come into being

    INDONESIA: Laporan Akuntabilitas Kinerja Instansi Pemerintah (LAKIP) merupakan perwujudan dari bagaimana suatu instansi pemerintah menjalankan tugasnya serta untuk mempertanggungjawabkan pencapaian atau kegagalan upaya misi organisasi dan dibuat serta disusun secara berkala. Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Malang adalah instansi yang bergerak pada kepengurusan aset negara, namun dengan adanya beberapa indikator kinerja yang tidak memenuhi target membuat penulis tertarik untuk meneliti pada kantor pelayanan kekayaan negara dan lelang Malang, disisi lain peneliti juga ingin tau bagaimana pelaksanaan laporan akuntabilitas kinerja instansi pemerintah di kantor tersebut, oleh karena itu penulis mengambil judul penelitihan “Analisis Laporan Akuntabilitas Kinerja Instansi Pemerintah (LAKIP) sesuai permen pan-rb nomor 6 tahun 2022 (studi kasus pada kantor pelayanan kekayaan negara dan lelang Malang)”. Penelitihan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitiatif dengan melakukan observasi secara langsung pada objek penelitihan, hal ini bertujuan agar penulis dapat dengan mudah menganalisis mengenai laporan akuntabilitas kinerja selama 4 tahun terakhir. Wawancara juga dilakukan dalam penelitihan ini karena penulis dapat menggali informasi dengan lebih rinci dan detail sehingga dapat memperkuat hasil akhir penelitihan. Dari hasil penelitihan yang telah dilakukan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kantor pelayanan kekayaan negara dan lelang telah melakukan pelaporan akuntabilitas kinerja secara baik setiap tahunnya meskipun masih adanya indikator kinerja yang tidak mencapai target yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor dan hasil yang tidak konsisten dalam capaian kinerja setiap tahunnya atau mengalami fluktuatif. ENGLISH: Government Agency Performance Accountability Report (LAKIP) is an embodiment of how a government agency carries out its duties and is responsible for achieving or failing the efforts of the organization's mission and is prepared and compiled periodically. The Malang State Property and Auction Service Office is an agency engaged in the management of state assets, but with several performance indicators that do not meet the target, the author is interested in researching the Malang State Property and Auction Service Office. On the other hand, researchers also want to know how accountability reports are implemented. the performance of government agencies in the office, therefore the author took the research title "Analysis of Government Agencies Performance Accountability Reports (LAKIP) according to the pan-rb ministerial regulation number 6 of 2022 (case study on state property service offices and Malang auctions)". This research uses a qualitative approach by making direct observations on research objects, it is intended that the authors can easily analyze performance accountability reports for the last 4 years. Interviews were also conducted in this study because the authors were able to dig up more detailed and detailed information so that they could strengthen the final results of the research. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the state property service office and auction have reported performance accountability properly every year even though there are still performance indicators that do not reach the target caused by several factors and inconsistent results in performance achievements each year or fluctuate.
