Editorial: The lack of teaching staff and new teacher training entrants in the industrial-technical subjects at vocational colleges
This special edition of the Journal of Technical Education entitled "The lack of teaching staff and new teacher training entrants in the industrial-technical subjects at vocational colleges" examines a topic that now runs like a golden thread through the debate on vocational education and research into teacher training in the field of occupational education. The issue of the lack of teaching staff at vocational colleges is consistently the focus of public discussion and papers published within the academic community. This debate on the lack of teaching staff at industrial vocational colleges is currently highly topical again in terms of educational policy, too

The Editorial Office of the Military Technical Courier is retracting the article
titled „Constructions of squaring the circle, doubling the cube and angle
trisection“ of the author Veselin M. Rmuš, published in the Military
Technical Courier vol. 65, no. 3/2017, pp.617-640 (doi:10.5937/vojtehg65-
13404; https://doi.org/10.5937/vojtehg65-13404). The article is retracted
because the final version of the article did not take into account the
referee's explicitly stated remark that the article deals with a new approach
to solving the problem and not with the final solution to the problem as
such a conclusion may be drawn from the published article. The Editorial
Office expresses regret and sincere apology to the readers; we
considered, with our engineering thinking, that the approximate solutions
given in this work can also be scientifically relevant in the mathematical
context of this classical, ancient Greek problem, which can by no means
be an excuse.
65, № 3/2017, с.617-640 (doi:10.5937/vojtehg65-13404;
https://doi.org/10.5937/vojtehg65-13404).
Redakcija "Vojnotehničkog glasnika" povlači članak autora Veselina M. Rmuša pod nazivom Konstrukcije kvadrature kruga, udvajanja kocke i trisekcije ugla, koji je objavljen u Vojnotehničkom glasniku, vol. 65, no. 3/2017, str.617-640 (doi:10.5937/vojtehg65-13404; https://doi.org/10.5937/vojtehg65-13404).
Technical Documentation as a Service – An Approach for Integrating Editorial and Engineering Processes of Machinery and Plant Engineers
AbstractDelivery of technical documentation of manufacturing facilities is still mandatory for machinery and plant engineers as part of the compliance with legal regulations. In addition, current research and development indicate that digital technical documentation can be used as informative support for operating staff if contents are provided context-sensitive. Despite the importance and potentials of technical documentation for the engineering process, an integration of editorial staff into this process is not state of the art.In this paper the authors propose a reference implementation for technical documentation developed within the collaborative research project Cyber System Connector in order to fill this gap both technically and organizationally. The aim is to redesign technical documentation into a service for all participants in product and production development. This new approach is based on a CPS-supported process of creating technical documentation and a virtual representation which serves as a platform for knowledge management in machinery and plant engineering. The benefits of implementing the proposed documentation strategy along the supply chain of manufacturing facilities are depicted by chosen application scenarios
