Full and ideal mixing behavior between Zr-Wd (K2ZrSi3O9) and Ti-Wd (K2TiSi3O9): evidences from mineral chemistry, X-ray diffraction pattern and Raman spectrum
No full textA series of wadeite solid solutions (Wd(ss)) along the join K2ZrSi3O9 (Zr-wadeite, Zr-Wd)-K2TiSi3O9 (Ti-wadeite, Ti-Wd) was synthesized at 2 GPa and 1,200-1,400 A degrees C for 24 h with a piston-cylinder apparatus. The chemical composition data demonstrated that Ti and Zr readily substitute for each other, and a full series of Wd(ss) exists between the Zr-Wd and Ti-Wd end-members at the P-T conditions of our synthesizing experiments. The volume-composition relationship at ambient P-T conditions did not show any significant deviation from the Vegard's law, indicating a nearly ideal mixing between the Zr-Wd and Ti-Wd. All the Raman peaks observed at ambient P-T conditions were linearly correlated with the composition, suggesting an almost full structural relaxation for the Wd(ss). These findings suggest that the complete mixing behavior along the join K2ZrSi3O9-K2TiSi3O9, as demonstrated by our high-P experiments, may extend to a much wider range of P-T conditions. Accretion onto WD 2226-210, the central star of the Helix Nebula
No full textThe central star of the Helix Nebula, WD 2226210 presents enigmatic hard X-ray emission and mid-IR excess. The latter has been attributed to a dusty disc or a cloud-like structure around WD 2226210 formed from material of Kuiper Belt-like or comet-like objects in highly eccentric orbits. We present here a detailed analysis of multi-epoch Chandra and XMM-Newton X-ray observations of WD 2226210, comparing these to previous Einstein and ROSAT data. The luminosity of the hard X-ray component of WD 2226210 has remained basically constant in the decade from 1992 to 2002, with very subtle evidence for variability in time-scales of hours. Under the assumption that the X-ray emission from WD 2226210 is due to accretion of material, an accretion rate of M yr is estimated. The origin of the material accreted by WD 2226210 is uncertain, and can be attributed to the disc-like structure around it or to a substellar donor companion. The accretion rate proposed for the continuous replenishment by bombardment of the mid-IR-emitting structure around WD 2226210 cannot match that required by the X-ray emission. © 2024 The Author(s).The authors thank comments and suggestions from an anonymous

No full textAdnan WD Payakumbuh Regional General Hospital is one of the government hospitals whose duties and functions include individual health service efforts and referrals. Regional General Hospital Adnan WD Payakumbuh in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 191/Menkes/SK/II/1993 in 1978 – 1992 the status of RSUD dr. Adnaan WD is Type D and in 1993 it became Type C which is in the Payakumbuh regional government area of West Sumatra Province. Like other government hospitals, Adnan WD General Hospital Payakumbuh is also expected to be able to provide health services to patients as a whole, including efforts to improve health. So the formulation of the problem in this study is how the quality of service for patients participating in the Class III Health Social Security Administering Body (BPJS) at RSUD dr. Adnan WD Payakumbuh City, West Sumatra Province. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative research approach with data collection techniques, namely interview, observation, and documentation techniques. From the results of interviews that the authors did, the satisfaction level of patients who were hospitalized in this hospital was generally maximum. This can be seen from the five indicators that the author has determined, that the service at this hospital has changed a lot since when one of the research families was admitted to this hospital in 2018
Waterveiligheid 21e eeuw: Kengetallen kosten-batenanalyse
No full textIn de wet staan normen voor de bescherming van grote delen van Nederland tegen overstromingen. Deze normen zijn gebaseerd op omstandigheden en berekeningen uit de jaren zestig van de vorige eeuw. Sinds die tijd zijn de mogelijke gevolgen van een overstroming fors toegenomen: de economische waarde achter de dijken is gestegen en de bevolking is gegroeid. Ook is de methode van de berekeningen verbeterd. In het project Waterveiligheid 21e eeuw onderzoekt het ministerie van Verkeer en Waterstaat of de wettelijke normen nog voldoen. Onderdeel van het project is een kosten-batenanalyse, die antwoord moet geven op twee vragen: 1. Wat zijn de economisch optimale veiligheidsniveaus per dijkring of deel daarvan?; 2. Welke kosten zijn daaraan verbonden? De kosten-batenanalyse komt in twee fasen tot stand. De eerste fase bestaat uit een globale, kengetallen kosten-batenanalyse (KKBA). De KKBA levert een globale indicatie van optimale veiligheidsniveaus en een schatting van de kosten op. Maar vooral maakt de KKBA duidelijk welke parameters met name bepalend zijn voor de optimale veiligheidsniveaus en welke informatie ontbreekt voor een volwaardige kosten-batenanalyse. The Foundation of Edition II of the Land Administration Domain Model

The Committee is developing this new edition of the LADM – as multipart – working titles are as follows:Part 1 – FundamentalsPart 2 – Land RegistrationPart 3 – Marine Space GeoregulationPart 4 – Valuation InformationPart 5 – Spatial Plan InformationPart 6 – ImplementationsThe decision to publish LADM Edition II as multipart had as a consequence that a New Work Item Proposal (NWIP) and a Working Draft (WD) have to be formulated for each Part. In 2020, the NWIP/WD have been submitted to ISO/TC 211 for Part 1 by Standards Australia (SA) with input from the author team on behalf of the FIG. The result of the voting was positive. Comments have been submitted, which will be processed and used in the next stage of the standard: the Committee Draft. It is planned that FIG will submit the NWIP for Part 2 beforesummer 2021. And it is expected that the same will happen this year for Parts 4 and 5. Beantwoording kennisvragen Deltacommissie: Een samenvatting
No full textOp verzoek van het Kabinet heeft de Deltacommissie in september 2008 een advies uitgebracht over de wijze waarop Nederland kan omgaan met de consequenties van de klimaatveranderingen tot 2100, met een doorkijk naar 2200. Dit advies betreft strategieen voor een samenhangende aanpak voor duurzame ontwikkeling van de Nederlandse kust en het achterland. Die aanpak moet blijven zorgen voor veilig wonen, werken en recreeren, en voor de ontwikkeling van natuur, landbouw, energievoorziening en andere functies in de Nederlandse delta. In de eerste helft van 2008 heeft de Deltacommissie aan verschillende (kennis)instituten, departementen en adviesbureaus vragen gesteld over verschillende aspecten van de duurzame ontwikkeling van de Nederlandse kust en hel achterland. Een deel van deze vragen, over de bescherming tegen overstromingen, is gesteld aan Rijkswaterstaat. Deskundigen van Rijkswaterstaat en Deltares hebben deze vragen beantwoord en in de vorm van notities aan de Deltacommissie aangeboden. Deze notities zijn in dit document samengevat. De vragen die aan Rijkswaterstaat en Deltares zijn gesteld, hebben belrekking op slechts een deel van de vraagstukken dat aan de kust in relatie lot de bescherming tegen overstromingen speelt. De bundeling van antwoorden is daarom fragmentarisch van karakter en geeft geen volledig beeld van de vraagstukken die nu aan de kust spelen. In dit document zijn de samenvattingen van de antwoorden geclusterd in thema's. De antwoorden zijn vaak tot stand gekomen onder hoge tijdsdruk. Sommige antwoorden zijn gebaseerd op al eerder uilgevoerde, uilgebreide studies. Andere antwoorden zijn niet meer dan een eerste gedachtebepaling, gebaseerd op ervaring en inzichten van een of meer deskundigen. Alle antwoorden zijn geschreven vanuit inhoudelijke kennis over het onderwerp en niet vanuit een integrale afweging van alle aspecten die in relatie tot het onderwerp van belang zouden kunnen zijn. In dit document is de mate van uilwerking voor alle antwoord en aangegeven, met een onderverdeling in een drietal categorieen: (1) het antwoord is een samenvatting van al eerder uilgevoerd onderzoek; (2) het antwoord is een combinatie van eerder uitgevoerd onderzoek en een deskundigenoordeel; (3) het antwoord is een deskundigenoordeel De gevolgde aanpak bij het opstellen van de antwoorden is in onderliggende notities beschreven.
