    A flyer for the fiftieth anniversary historical pageant, performed for the commencement ceremonies for the International YMCA College, now Springfield College, held in 1935. This flyer describes the program, and lists all the people involved with developing the pageant. The pageant was written and directed by Frederick S. Hyde, and included Tableaux presentations and glee club performances. The picture on the front is of all four of the presidents of Springfield College.; including David Allen Reed, Henry S.     This program details the twentieth commencement exercises, held June 10-13, 1906, of the International YMCA Training School (now Springfield College).This was the first time that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts had granted the right for Springfield College to confer degrees of Bachelor and Masters of Humanics and Physical Education. The first degree recipient was William H. J. Beckett. The program includes a calendar of the events as well as a list of the graduating students and their theses. The only activity listed on Sunday was a fellowship meeting led by J. T Bowne. There are no events scheduled for Monday, and Tuesday features mostly physical activities: water sports, an alumni versus students baseball game, and a senior reception. The water sports include a rowing race, obstacle race, distance swim, tub race, thirty yard dash, diving exhibition, and other activities.
