Java EE and Spring Platform Comparison in Web Application Development

Vēsturiski Java EE platformas sākotnējās versijas sarežģītā izstrādes procesa un resursu patēriņa dēļ izstrādātāju vidū iemantoja "smagsvara" platformas slavu. Kā alternatīva "vieglā svara" platforma tika radīta Spring platforma. Laika gaitā Java EE tika uzlabota, un platformas jaunākajās versijās izstrādes procesa sarežģītība ir mazinājusies.
Darbā tiek apskatītas Java EE 6 un Spring 3 platformu piedāvātās iespējas un analizēta to funkcionalitāte. Izmantojot autora izstrādātas lietotnes, tiek testēta un analizēta platformu veiktspēja. Noslēgumā tiek doti ieteikumi platformas izvēlē atkarībā no realizējamā projekta specifikas.Java EE and Spring are most popular Java web application platforms. Early versions of Java EE platform had complicated development process and high resource usage so in developer community it was called "heavy-weight". Spring platform emerged as an alternative "light-weight" platform. Later Java EE was updated and development complexity was decreased.
Paper describes features of Java EE 6 and Spring 3 platform and analyses platform functionality. Performance of both platforms is tested using applications developed by author. In conclusion author gives recommendations for platform choice depending on project characteristics

Diplomdarba mērķis ir pētīt un izanalizēt, vai iespējams uzlabot skolēnu fizisko sagatavotību, līdzsvaru un koordināciju, integrējot sporta stundās basketbola pamatpaņēmienu vingrinājumus. Ņemot vērā teorētisko literatūras izpēti, secināts, ka skolēnu līdzsvara un koordinācijas uzlabošanai var izmantot basketbola spēles pamatelementus un izstrādāt vingrinājumus. Pētījuma ietvaros atbildot uz pētījuma jautājumu, veicot vingrinājumus 3 reizes nedēļā pa 20 minūtēm, kuru pamatā basketbola pamatpaņēmieni, var uzlabot skolēnu līdzsvara un koordinācijas spējas. To apstiprina veiktais eksperiments, kas pierāda, ka skolēnu līdzsvars uzlabojās vidēji par 20,26 procentiem.The author of the diploma thesis is Raimonds Feldmanis, a student of the 2nd level professional higher education study program "Teacher" of the Teacher Education Department of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Art of the University of Latvia. The aim of the Diploma thesis is to study and analyze possible ways to improve the physical fitness of students in sports lessons by integrating exercises of basic basketball techniques with elements of coordination and balance. Taking into account the theoretical research of the literature, it was concluded that the basic elements of the basketball game can be used and exercises can be developed to improve the balance and coordination of students. In response to the research question, performing exercises 3 times a week for 20 minutes based on basic basketball techniques can improve students' balance and coordination abilities. This is confirmed by an experiment that shows that students' balance improves by 20,26 percent

Bakalaura darba struktūra sastāv no trīs nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā veikts iekšējās un ārējās vides teorētisko aspektu izvērtējums, kur apkopoti teorētiskie aspekti par uzņēmuma iekšējo vidi, tieši un netieši ietekmējošo ārējo vidi. Awareness of Latvian university students on LGBT+ issues.

Darba konsultants ir Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes docētājs Raimonds Lazda. Darba pētāmie jautājumi:
1) Kādas ir Latvijas augstskolu studentu zināšanas par LGBT+ kopienu, tās norisēm (norisēm tajā) un problēmjautājumiem?
2) Kā studentu zināšanas par LGBT+ kopienu un ar to saistītiem problēmjautājumiem ietekmē studējošo attieksmi pret seksuālajām minoritātēm?
Darbā izzināta Latvijas augstskolu studentu informētība, attieksme, viedokļi, to pamatojums, pret LGBT+ kopienu un ar to saistītiem problēmjautājumiem. Tiek aprakstīts dzimtes un dzimuma jēdziens seksuālo minoritāšu kontekstā, LGBT+ kopienas tiesiskā un sociālā aizsardzība no teorētiskā viedokļa, kā arī tika veikts pētījums.
Lai izpildītu izvirzītos uzdevumus, tika izmantota anketēšanas metode, konkrēti interneta aptauja (E - aptauja), kura palīdzēja noskaidrot Latvijas augstskolās studējošo informētību un attieksmi pret LGBT+ kopienu, tās problēmjautājumiem, cik iecietīgi pret seksuālajam minoritātēm ir studenti un cik iekļaujošā vidē viņiem nākas uzturēties. Anketa tika veidota izmantojot pieejamo aptauju rīku visidati.lv. Atsaucīgi bija 164 respondenti.
Pētnieciskajā daļā atbilžu rezultāti tika aprēķināti procentos un parādīti diagrammās. Pētījumā tika secināts, ka studentu informētība LGBT+ jautājumos ir vērtējama kā laba; studentu izpratne par seksuālajām minoritātēm un norisēm tajā, veicina pozitīvu un iecietīgu attieksmi pret LGBT+ kopienu.
Darba apjoms ir 64 lapas ieskaitot titullapu un pielikumu. Bakalaura darbs ietver 10 attēlus, 45 literatūras avotus no tiem 33 interneta resursus un 12 grāmatas vai laikrakstus.

The objectives of the thesis are to identify the:
1) Overall level of knowledge of the students at the Latvia universities (hereinafter – Students) on the LGBT + community, its internal processes and challenges.
2) Impact of the Students' knowledge on the LGBT + community and related issues on their perceptions of sexual minorities.
The paper explores the awareness of the Students on the LGBT + community and related issues, their attitudes, opinions and reasoning behind them. The thesis seeks to describe and explain the concept of gender, in particular the concept of gender in the context of sexual minorities, as well as the legal and social protection of the LGBT + community from a theoretical point of view.
The objectives of the thesis were met by applying the questionnaire method - internet survey (e-survey), which enabled the author to identify the general awareness and attitude of the students towards the LGBT + community, existing challenges, the level of tolerance towards sexual minorities and how inclusive they believe the environment is for sexual minorities is. The survey was developed and carried out using an online survey tool visidati.lv. In total 164 respondents participated in the survey.
The survey results were calculated in percentages and displayed as diagrams in the main research part. The study concluded that Students' awareness of LGBT + issues can be asses as good, while their understanding of sexual minorities and the internal community processes promotes a positive and tolerant attitude towards the LGBT + community.
The paper consists of 64 pages, including the title page and the appendix. It includes 10 images, 45 sources of literature, including 33 online sources and 12 reference material, books and periodicals.

No full textDiplomdarba tēma ir „Informācijas sistēmu pilnveidošana uzņēmumā "DB Schenker Latvija” un tā mērķis ir izanalizēt DB Schenker Latvija biznesa procesa nodrošināšanai izmantotās informācijas sistēmas un izstrādāt risinājums šo sistēmu nepilnību novēršanai un pilnveidošanai. Diplomdarbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā autors iepazīstina ar izvēlēto organizāciju, tās statusu un izveides mērķiem, organizatorisko struktūru, saimnieciskās darbības virzieniem, funkcijām, ekonomiskajiem rādītājiem. No full textBakalaura darba tēma ir „Latvijas maksājumu bilances dinamika no 2005. līdz 2012. gadam”.
Bakalaura darba mērķis ir parādīt krīzes ietekmi uz Latvijas maksājumu bilanci pēc autora izvēlētā perioda un sadalītajiem posmiem no 2005. līdz 2007.gadam, no 2008. līdz 2010. gadam un no 2011. gada līdz 2012. gadam, uz kā pamata tiek izdarīti secinājumi un tiek izvirzīti priekšlikumi.
Bakalaura darbs sastāv no ievada, trīs galvenajām nodaļām ar apakšnodaļām, secinājumiem un priekšlikumiem, izmantotās literatūras saraksta un pielikumiem.
Pirmajā nodaļā tiek raksturoti makroekonomiskie modeļi un maksājumu bilances būtība. Otrajā nodaļā tiek raksturota Latvijas ekonomikas attīstība no 2005. līdz 2012. gadam, kurā tiek apskatīti tādi ekonomiskie rādītāji kā IKP, patēriņš, cenu līmenis un nodarbinātība. The aim of the bachelor paper is to show the impact of the crisis on the Latvian balance of payments according to the author of the selected period which is dividing in three section: from the 2005th to 2007th year, from the 2008th to 2010th year and from 2011th to 2012th year, and on the basis of periods analysing author is making the conclusions and putting forward proposals.
Bachelor paper is composed of introduction, three section with subsection, conclusions and proposals, bibliography and annex.
The first section describes the economic models and the nature of the balance of payments. The second section describe the Latvian economy from the 2005th to 2012th year in which author is describing such economic indicators as GDP, consumption, employment and the price level.
