    No full text
Teoretické znalosti o jednotlivých literárních žánrech a jazykových postupech (utopie, dystopie, parodie a fikce) budou aplikovány do praxe. As a result of the title of the bachelor's thesis Fiction, parody and utopia of Patrik Ouředník we are able to identify what is the central theme of this thesis - it means author's free areas of language. The theoretical knowledge of literary genres and language methods - utopia, dystopia, parody and fiction - will be used in practise. Shortly after that we could make clear which free language areas the author utilizes. Therefore the targets of bachelor's thesis are firstly how Patrik Ouředník uses these areas of language and secondly what is the purpose of his peculiar handwriting.Fakulta filozofickáStudentka představila téma práce, cíle , zvolenou metodu. Title: Voice command for a TV set Author: Patrik Černý Department: Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics Supervisor: Mgr. Pavel Straňák, Ph.D. Abstract: A goal of this thesis is to create television voice control intended for poeple with speech and movement disorder. This is achieved by interconnecting computer and television. Voice control is based on well-known dynamic time warping algorithm. It has been shown, that due to high and frequent changes in sound intensity the voice control of television is quite a complex task. The word recognition success rate of the final application is not very high, but for the purpose sufficient. Because of application design, program can be easily extended by techniques, that can improve recognition effectivity. Keywords: voice control, word recognition, dynamic time warping, television

Title: Pronunciation Validation in Speech Therapy Application Author: Bc. Patrik Černý Institute: Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics Supervisor: Mgr. Nino Peterek, Ph.D., Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics Abstract: A goal of this thesis is to design, create and test speech validation method based on current speech recognition algorithms. Resulting software is a speech therapy application for sounds or words training with feedback about pronunciation accuracy. Speech validation is based on CMUSphinx tools and on inaccurate pronunciation generation (using phonetic dictionary). Records with accurate and inaccurate pronunciations has been collected for training and testing purposes. It has been shown, that this design is not appropriate. Thanks to the software design, application can be easily extended by techniques, that could improve validation efficiency. Title: Study of novel magnesium alloys with controlled microstructure and texture Author: Daria Drozdenko Department / Institute: Department of Physics of Materials, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: Ing. Patrik Dobroň, Ph.D., Department of Physics of Materials. Abstract: The work elucidates the role of dislocation slip and twinning during plastic deformation in selected magnesium (Mg) alloys with controlled microstructure and texture. The acoustic emission (AE) technique was concurrently applied during deformation to determine the activity of particular deformation mechanisms. A detailed insight into microstructure was provided by electron microscopy. In order to obtain a comprehensive set of AE data for particular deformation mechanisms, Mg single crystals with various crystallographic orientations were channel-die and uniaxially compressed. The obtained results were applied on deformation mechanisms in polycrystalline textured Mg alloys. Particularly, the twinning - detwinning processes, in the sense of twin boundary mobility, during one cycle loading (pre-compression followed by tension) were described. Clear correlations between changes in the AE response and the inflection points on the deformation curve were found. An analysis of twin..

Název práce: Kalibrace jetů pomocí technik strojového učení Autor: Patrik Novotný Ústav: Ústav částicové a jaderné fyziky Vedoucí práce: Mgr. Martin Rybář, Ph.D., Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics Abstract: Jets, collimated sprays of particles, are considered to be a perfect probe of the matter created at heavy-ion collisions. The work explores the possibility of using machine learning techniques to improve the overall calibration of jet energy scale and its resolution for ATLAS experiment calorimeters, which are used in the research of lead nucleus collisions. First, the current performance of jet reconstruction quantified by mean response and energy resolution dependence on the value of transverse momentum, pseudorapidity, and centrality of collisions is shown. It is further discussed that the current calibration does not take into account whether the jets are induced by a quark or gluon. Subsequently, four variables are selected, which might be used to distinguish between these two groups of jets. The dependence of the response on those quantities and on centrality is further studied. The last part describes the process of the preparation of a training data set, set up of the neural network, and the analysis of it using tools provided by the MultiLayerPerceptron library of the...Institute of Particle and Nuclear PhysicsÚstav částicové a jaderné fyzikyFaculty of Mathematics and PhysicsMatematicko-fyzikální fakult

Univerzita Karlova, Farmaceutická fakulta v Hradci Králové Katedra biologických a lékařských věd Autor: Bc. Věk pacientů...Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Author: Bc. Patrik Zmij Supervisor: RNDr. Ondřej Souček, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Lymphocyte reconstitution after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is the most effective treatment option for patients with hematologic malignancies, including acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, or the rarer myelosarcoma. After a successful transplantation, the immune system cells are regenerated, and this master's thesis focuses on one aspect of that process: lymphocyte reconstitution. The experimental part of the study involved patients who underwent allogeneic transplantation of blood- forming cells based on their unfavorable diagnosis. These patients were then monitored for one year at the Institute of Clinical Immunology and Allergology at the Faculty Hospital in Hradec Králové. Observations were conducted at three months and continued until the end of the first year, using flow cytometry as the method of assessment.
