No full textAn assessment of the impact of possible CAP reform scenarios on Romanian agriculture
Full text linkUsing a simplified model, with key-variable the prices of two different possible scenarios of CAP reform after 2013 (moderate and radical), this paper present a comparison between the price effects of implementation of each reform scenario at 2015 horizon on Romanian agriculture. This short analysis shows that, under the presented hypotheses, the net welfare effect, due to the price changes, for the selected products, is positive in both reform scenarios, yet greater in the case of the radical reform. Integrated in the large context of Romanian development, it seems that the influence of CAP reform upon agriculture and rural areas will be most likely a gradual one: an interpenetration between the two scenarios is foreseeable, starting with the moderate reform that will dominate the period around 2013, the reform measures acquiring a more radical character afterwards.CAP reform, Romania, welfare effects, Agricultural and Food Policy,
RT growth of acetonitrile and acrylonitrile on Si(001)-2 x 1 studied by XPS and LEED
No full textIn this work we show the adsorption of acetonitrile (CH3CN) and acrylonitrile (CH2CHCN) on Si(0 0 1)-2 x 1 at room temperature by increasing the molecular doses. Especially, by means of XPS and LEED data, we stress the action of these molecules on the silicon surface locating the dangling-bonds quasi-saturation within 10 L. The shortage of nitrogen XPS signal and some anomalies in carbon spectra point to an invading action from a traditional X-ray source (Al-K-alpha line) against chemisorbed molecules. In particular, we think that a long exposure to this radiation could break carbon-silicon bonds changing some adsorption geometries and making desorb molecular fragments. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. Rich, Sturmian, and trapezoidal words
Full text linkIn this paper we explore various interconnections between rich words, Sturmian words, and trapezoidal words. Rich words, first introduced by the second and third authors together with J. Justin and S. Widmer, constitute a new class of finite and infinite words characterized by having the maximal number of palindromic factors. Every finite Sturmian word is rich, but not conversely. Trapezoidal words were first introduced by the first author in studying the behavior of the subword complexity of finite Sturmian words. Unfortunately this property does not characterize finite Sturmian words. In this note we show that the only trapezoidal palindromes are Sturmian. More generally we show that Sturmian palindromes can be characterized either in terms of their subword complexity (the trapezoidal property) or in terms of their palindromic complexity. We also obtain a similar characterization of rich palindromes in terms of a relation between palindromic complexity and subword complexity

Les nationalistes corses dans les élections territoriales de 2021 Le texte de Françoise Albertini et Luca Corchia applique les perspectives thématiques et méthodologiques que la media research a développées au niveau international à l’étude de cas des élections territoriales en Corse en 2021, en traitant notamment de la campagne électorale sur Facebook du leader nationaliste G. Simeoni. Les résultats de la Digital Trace Data Analysis et de l’analyse du contenu des messages permettent d’examiner, d’une part, les transformations de l’espace public avec l’avènement des réseaux sociaux et, d’autre part, les tendances émergentes de la communication politique, comme la personnalisation, l’émotionnalisation et le populisme. La recherche met en évidence les particularités du contexte insulaire en ce qui concerne la prééminence des relations personnelles directes et la tenue des médias traditionnels, ainsi qu’un « style de communication » de G. Simeoni tout à fait atypique, à la fois leaderiste, institutionnel, peu interactif mais surtout privé du lexique émotionnel, négatif et trivial des mouvements populistes
