Capacity of repeated sprints in professional futsal athletes: an analysis of the Tabata protocol
Futsal seems to require a high amount of high intensity efforts and the ability to generate repeated sprints justifies the athlete's ability to maintain maximum effort over repeated sprints, a feature that is indispensable for the sport. Objective: to evaluate the ability of repeated sprints (TSR) in futsal players in an analysis considering the Tabata training protocol. Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional p, composed of nine athletes from a futsal team from Paranavaí, Paraná, Brazil who was currently competing in the silver series (second division) of the state championship. Only players who act on the line are selected. Aerobic capacity was evaluated by the intermittent 30:15 test and the after 48 h, the athletes were recruited to perform the Tabata protocol of high intensity interval training, which originally consists of eight sprints of 20 seconds at 170% of the maximum vVO2, interspersed by 10 seconds of passive recovery. In each sprint, the subjective perception of exertion (PSE), speed and percentage of the maximum vVO2 were noted. Results: The reported PSE values by the athletes increased with each sprint performed, and all athletes finished with maximum perception of effort. Another important data shows that five of the nine athletes evaluated, managed to perform only the first sprint in the intensity of the protocol, so the final average of the percentage of the maximum vVO2 was 121.96 ± 9.32 %. Conclusion: Professional futsal players were not able to perform the Tabata training protocol at the intensity proposed by the author (170% maximum vVO2), as well as had significant loss in running speed and significant increases in PSE, with 100% of the players reported maximum effort at the end of the protocol

The treatments for HF have developed in recent years. The following four basic HF drugs have been widely recognized as the “Fantastic Four”: beta-adrenergic blocking agents, mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MRA), sodium glucose transporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2 inhibitors), and angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitors (ARNI). However, the interaction between the heart and blood vessels has not received much attention. The cardio-ankle vascular index (CAVI) is an arterial stiffness index that is unaffected by blood pressure at the time of measurement. A 34-year-old obese man was admitted with dyspnea and edema. His cardiac function was severely impaired, and CAVI was increased. After administration of multidisciplinary HF treatment centered on the “Fantastic Four”, his cardiac function and CAVI improved dramatically in a short time period. This case suggests the importance of improvement both cardiac and vascular function for the treatment of HF.Keywords: obesity, hypertension, obstructive sleep apnea, arterial stiffness, cardio ankle vascular inde

1986In counseling and psychotherapy, it is essential that how a counselor or a therapist receive the client's complaints accurately and feed-back the understanding of the client fully. lf so, the client become able to understand himself or herself and to deepen the relationship with others by experiencing to be deeply understood or listened to by the counselor. The counselor, therefore, must pay attention to the non-interpersonal referents as well as interpersonal referents. Especially the middle age women talk much about complicated themes including non-interpersonal referents. In this study, the author aim to report the case of middle age women, describing specially about the theme of a "pet" (i.e. cat and dog), and to discuss upon the meaning of these "pets". The Case 'C' reported in this study was a married woman of 54 years old. The family was consisted of her husband, daughter and son. The complaint was her daughter's "violence-in-the-family". The therapeutic interviews were continued about 9 months, and terminated at 11 sessions. The Case 'D' was also a married woman of 44 years old. The family was consisted of her husband, son and daughter. The main complaint of her was "the way of living without her being perplexed problems of life". The therapeutic interviews were continued for about 8 months, and terminated after 16 sessions. Concerning to the two causes, the author discussed on the followings: 1. The counselor's basic attitude and the width of views. 2. The therepeutic meaning of a "pet" communicated in the therapeutic processes. 1) A "pet" as an intermediator in the mother-child separation process. 2) The reason why the "pet" must be a cat, not a dog. 3) A "pet" as a "transitional object" (Winnicott, D.W., 1971) and a 'neutral area of experience' (Tabata & Itoh, 1980) to an intimate interpersonal relationship.国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。departmental bulletin pape

Espera-se que o modelo final seja implementado, em breve, para investigação de sua efetividade prática no processo ensino-aprendizagemObjective: To create a scene model, composed of Brazilian movies characters with statistically validated diagnoses, with didactic and realism potential, for the teaching of personality disorders (PD). Method: Mixed methods research, which consisted of the analysis of 87 characters, belonging to the sample of 55 Brazilian movies. The instruments made it possible to evaluate the diagnoses and potential for teaching. The procedures were performed blindly by three evaluators, in four distinct steps: identification, selection, eligibility and inclusion. Results: Among the characters evaluated, 78% (68) presented traits/diagnosis of PD. Of these, 10% were categorized into cluster A, 80% cluster B and 10% cluster C. The antisocial personality was the most frequent (46%). Agreement between evaluators for diagnosis was calculated by the free-marginal kappa coefficient and was equivalent to 0.81, with a 95% CI. The final model of scenes was composed by 16 characters, who presented higher levels of diagnostic agreement, and greater didactic and realism potentials. The PDs present in the model were: paranoid, schizoid, antisocial, borderline, histrionic, narcissistic and obsessive-compulsive. The schizotypal, avoidant, and dependent categories did not score enough to be included. It stimulates investment in new research that investigate Brazilian cinema. It is hoped that the final model will be implemented soon to investigate its practical effectiveness in the teaching-learning proces
