Pyrimidine nucleotides containing a (S)-methanocarba ring as P2Y6 receptor agonists
Both agonists and antagonists of the UDP-activated P2Y6 receptor (P2Y6R) have been proposed for therapeutic use, in conditions such as cancer, inflammation, neurodegeneration and diabetes. Uracil nucleotides containing a south-bicyclo[3.1.0]hexane ((S)-methanocarba) ring system in place of the ribose ring were synthesized and shown to be potent P2Y6R agonists in a calcium mobilization assay. The (S)-methanocarba modification was compatible with either a 5-iodo or 4-methoxyimino group on the pyrimidine, but not with a α,β-methylene 5′-diphosphate. (S)-Methanocarba dinucleotide potency was compatible with a N4-methoxy modification on the proximal nucleoside that is assumed to bind at the P2Y6R similarly to UDP; (N)-methanocarba was preferred on the distal nucleoside moiety. This suggests that the distal dinucleotide P2Y6R binding site prefers a ribose-like group that can attain a (N) conformation, rather than (S). Dinucleotide binding was modeled by homology modeling, docking and molecular dynamics simulations, which suggested the same ribose conformational preferences found empirically

Research on su shi's zen thoughts
Su shi's writings are as vast as the sea, and his zen writings are more unique and profound.. Su shi's zen thoughts are inseparable from his own ups and downs of life experience and his own free and unrestrained character, more importantly, su shi has a profound background of Buddhism. Under the social background of harmony of zen and religion, Su shi is engaged in many buddhist activities, but the root of his thoughts is that Su shi was most influenced by zen. This test will expound su shi's zen thoughts through three chapters. The first chapter analyzes su shi's thought of zen, mainly introducing su shi's thought of prajna emptiness and his thought of no thoughts and no living. The first section introduces the development of zen in song dynasty. Firstly, the test analyzes the historical background of the development of zen in the song dynasty and the key factor of promoting the development of zen in the song dynasty, that is, the emperor's policy of worshipping Buddhism; After that, it introduces the general situation of the development of Zen in the Song Dynasty., Text Zen is an important and unique form of Zen development in the Song Dynasty, it is closely related to Su Shi's Zenessays ,therefore, it introduces the general situation of the Northern Song Dynasty. Thesecond section mainly introduces Su Shi's prajna thoughts, first introduces the emptiness of Zen, and then explores the emptiness in Su Shi's article. The third section introduce sushi's prajnaparamita emptiness and his zen thought of no thoughts and noliving as well as his pursuit of a quiet and free life The second chapter summarizes Su Shi's Zen cultivation and Zen characteristics. The first section introduces Su Shi’s criticism of the problem of Zen scholarship at the time and summarizes Su Shi’s concept of Zen cultivation, which reflects Su Shi’s strong social responsibility and lofty admiration for the spirit of Zen. The second section summarizes the characteristics of meditation, practicality and dialectical rationality in Su Shi's Zen ideology, which has important reference and enlightenment significance for later life and meditation. The third chapter introduces the book "Dongpo Zen Xiji", which is a special collection and arrangement of Su Shi's Zen prose. Su Shi's Zen thought is mainly embodied in his prose articles, therefore, this book is of great significance for the study of Su Shi's Zen thoughts, however, the academic circles have not paid enough attention to this book. Therefore, the book is detailed in this book. Introduction to arouse the attention of the academic community. The final content of the article is the conclusion. It is pointed out that Su Shi is fundamentally a practitioner who takes the essence of Zen thought to guide life practice and improve the realm of life and analyzes the tension between Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in Su Shi's thought and the contradiction in his life
Diffusive author(s), cohesive author: Analysis of S/N (1994)
This study indicates the ways in which various aspects of the author(s) are brought forth in Dumb type’s performance art, the S/N production. Previous research has suggested a non-hierarchical organization of Dumb type and the absence of a “privileged author” in Dumb type’s collaborative work, S/N. However, the results that I have investigated from member’s interviews on the creative process of S/N along with my analysis of the recorded images of S/N, indicate a different aspect of the author(s). First, S/N was created through, so to speak, the collective ideas of the members of Dumb type. Further, S/N has at least nine quotations from previous performances, installations, and printed writings, besides the work-in-progress technique. Explicating one of the “author functions” as given by Michel Foucault, each text has plural subjects of the author. However, it has been revealed from members’ interviews that Teiji Furuhashi had a decision-making role in selecting the members’ ideas within the performance. Since then, S/N has had plural subjects of creation; however, Furuhashi is one of the subjects of creation along with the “privileged author.” S/N has plural authors (diffusive authors) yet at the same time, it has a “privileged author,” Teiji Furuhashi (cohesive author)
The astrochemical observatory: Computational and theoretical focus on molecular chirality changing torsions around O – O and S – S bonds
The observation of hydrogen peroxide in the interstellar medium represents a remarkable discovery for the astrochemistry community. The prototypical role that this molecule, arguably the simplest chiral molecule, plays in the evolution of life in biospheres, is related to the chirality change transitions associated with the torsional motions around the O - O and the S - S bonds. In this paper, we present an overview on the state-of-art of possible experiments to demonstrate chiral effects discrimination and computational tools applied to peroxides and persulfides
Alternating *-it-s and *-ut-s rhymes in the Shi Jing: a dissimilatory change after all
In a recent post I listed six cases of unexpected rhyming between *-it-s and *-ut-s in the Shi Jing, noting that this always occurred after a labial initial. I treated these examples as resulting from an assimilatory process spreading the labial feature onto the vowel. From the sections of the Shi Jing where these rhyme contacts occur, I deducted that the change had taken place in (north)western China. Guillaume Jacques immediately commented that the reverse interpretation might be worth cons..
Asynchronous Filtering for Discrete-Time Switched T-S Fuzzy Systems
In this paper, asynchronous H∞ filtering is studied for discrete-time switched Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy systems. New Lyapunov functions are constructed for switched systems with asynchronous switching between subsystems and candidate filters. These improved Lyapunov functions are dependent on the mode of filters instead of subsystems, which are more consistent with the switching mechanism of switched systems with asynchronous switching. Meanwhile, they are quasi-time-dependent, which are effective in achieving more general results than traditional time-independent Lyapunov functions. Based on the new Lyapunov functions, a stability and ℓ2 -gain criterion is deduced for switched T–S fuzzy systems. Then, switched fuzzy filters are designed to guarantee that the filtering error system is globally uniformly asymptotically stable and has a prescribed H∞ performance. At last, an illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the potentials and advantages of the proposed filtering scheme.Shuang Shi, Zhongyang Fei, Peng Shi, Choon Ki Ah
The Research of Su Shi''s Fable
In the discussion of literature history, people must discuss about Su Shi''s poems and literary works that present many important meanings by this outstanding writer, poet. Due to literature history focuses on the main stream of the mentioned era, people seldom pay attention to the importance of fable which also affects the development of literature much from far away Pre-Qin Dynasty.n fact, not only Su Shi''s poems that definitely stand for important milestone to the North-Sung dynasty, his fables also bring much significant impact to the literary history and play a very important role to connect the previous accomplishments and set up the new paragon for future. Therefore, this thesis focuses on Su Shi''s achievement of fable to replenish the insufficient research in the view of literary history. On the one hand, this thesis also would like to understand Su Shi more through the research of his fable to find out some inside and deep meanings of this important poet, writer in the literary history.n the first chapter, due to there is no clear definition of what fable is, this thesis would like to set up the definition firstly to clarify the research range. By the reference of Zhuang Zi''s explanation and the definition from Mr. Chen Puqing, "A fable is the story that the author would like to reflect something else". Therefore, the first chapter takes this definition to decide the research range and analysis criteria.n the second chapter, this thesis would like to research Su Shi''s writing background. Through the external environment and internal personal factors, this thesis is trying to find out Su Shi''s writing motive and the main causes to establish his writing style. ables expressed many aspects of its inside meanings including thinking value, life purpose, political ideas…etc. The third chapter of this thesis will focus on Su Shi''s academic thinking system to provide another point of view except his poems, essay, and theory articles. This chapter would like to observe and study the interactions between Su Shi''s thinking orientation comparing to other different thinking system through the deep studying of the content, format, and inner thinking in Su Shi''s fables.rom the content, style and performance practices of the points, the fourth chapter deals with the artistry of Su Shi''s fable. By the content analysis of his fable, this thesis would like to come out his inside mental reality and to know the external environment around him. By the analysis of his writing style and methodology, here also would like to dedicate some information for the reference of the following fable writing and innovation s the conclusion of this thesis, the fifth chapter is going to set up a suitable position for Su Shi''s fable articles in the literary history. After studying, Su Shi''s has significant humorous character in his deep mind. Even there are various styles of his fables, but major of all is still written by his spirit of humor. This is also his strong style among all the fable works in the fable history. Owing to, this chapter also takes this chance to analysis the developments and evolution between jokes and fables, and would like to find something new to show the unique position of Su Shi''s humorous fables in the literary history.able has not only the elegant sense of philosophy but also has the sense of art. Meanwhile, through the fable content, we can also find the significant character of the author. Due to the limitation of my limited capability, this thesis can''t describe very well for all goodness of the fable. So, this thesis here, only would like to dedicate the preliminary studying for this topic firstly, and would like to provide the minor reference for all the following people who is interested in this fable studying.
