Instead of a challenging, change-management process whereby buy in was needed from each stakeholder, all the staff, instructors, and students that started at MEF had come knowing that the education would be Flipped and had agreed to be a part of this approach. From a leadership point of view, this was indeed a privileged position to be in. However, it does not mean that there were not some teething problems along the way. No full textOne of the books interested in Muslim-Christian polemic in XIX.century is “Muhtasar al-Acviba al-Calila li Dahd al-Daawat al- Nasraniyya” written by Muhammed b.Ali al-Tıybi al-Dımışki. The book is a summary of the book “al-Acviba al-Calila li Dahd al-Daavat al-Nasraniyya” written by Sheik Ziyade. Al-Dımışki, author of “Muhtasar”, was born in Damascus in Syria in 1246/1830 and died there in 1317/1899. He wrote his book because of his some friends demanded him to summarize the book of Sheik Ziyade. The subjects disputed in the book are Christian Trinity, crucifix of Jesus Christ on the Cross, falsification of the Bible and the good news about Muhammed the Prophet in the Bible. The “Muhtasar” is an answer and an apology against Christians who aggress to Islam in some subjects. It is understood that the author perfectly knows the Koran and the Bible

No full textMUHAMMED ÂBİD EL-CÂBİRÎ’NİN TEFSİRDE SÎRET-NÜZÛL İLİŞKİSİ YAKLAŞIMI İslam düşüncesi hakkındaki çalışmalarıyla Arap dünyasında olduğu gibi ülkemizde de tanınmakta olan Fas’lı düşünür Muhammed Âbid el-Câbirî’nin, son eseri olarak telif ettiği Fehmu’l-Kur’âni’l-Hakîm adlı üç ciltlik, tefsiri, hem biçimsel özellikleri hem de içeriği itibariyle, üzerinde akademik çalışma yapılmayı hak etmektedir. Yapısalcı yöntemi izlediği bilinen müellifin bu tefsirinin özellikle sîret-nüzûl ilişkisi konusundaki yaklaşımı, klasik ve çağdaş tefsir akımları içerisinde özgün bir yere sahiptir. Tefsirde Hz. Peygamber’in hayatındaki olayların açıklayıcılığından istifade etmek hemen her dönemde makbul görülmüş olmakla beraber, siyeri tefsirin merkezine taşıyıp Kur’ân’ı siyer eşliğinde takip etmek, bildiğimiz kadarıyla, bugüne kadar herhangi bir müfessirin izlemiş olduğu bir yöntem değildir. Bu tez çalışmasında hem Câbirî’nin düşünceleri ana hatlarıyla ortaya konulmaya ve İslam dünyasındaki yankıları takip edilmeye çalışılmış, hem tefsirinin özellikleri incelenmiş, hem de bu tefsirden hareketle, tefsirde “sîret-nüzûl ilişkisi” temelinde bir yaklaşım geliştirmenin imkânı, önemi, mantıksal sonuçları, muhtemel sakıncaları ve yararları üzerinde değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Yapısalcılık, Tefsir, Sîret-nüzûl ilişkisi, MUHAMMAD ABED AL-JABRE'S APPROACH TO SIRAH-REVELATION RELATIONSHIP IN QURANIC EXEGESIS Muhammad Abid Al-Jabre is a well-known thinker in the Arab world as well as in Turkey. He is famous for his original studies on Islamic thought. Al-Jabre’s last work, Fehmu’l-Qur’âni’l-Hakîm, is a three-volume exegesis of the Quran and deserves academic investigation for both its structure and content. The author uses the structuralist method; and in this exegesis his approach to Sirah-Revelation relationship has a unique place in both classical and contemporary approaches of tafseer. It has been a well-trodden path to utilize the explanatory value of the events in the Prophet’s life in Quranic exegesis; however, as far as we are concerned, no mufassir has so far placed the sirah in the center of his or her tafseer and interpret Quran in its light. This thesis has a number of aims. First, a general outline of Al-Jabre’s thought is presented, followed by an overview of the impact of his thought in the Islamic world. Second, we evaluated his tafseer, discussing the problem of developing an exegetical method on the axis of sirah-revelation relationship. We then conclude with a thorough discussion of the possibility, importance, logical results, probable disadvantages and benefits of developing such an exegetical approach. No full textDîn; inanç ve ibadetleri kapsayan, insanı iki cihanda mutlu kılacak bilgi, emir ve yasakları içeren sistemlerin bütünüdür. Tasavvuf ise bireye kendini bilme, öğrenme konusunda yol gösteren yöntemler düzenidir. Allah’a kul olan insan, insan-ı kâmil mertebesine ulaşmaya çalışır ve bu esnada diğer insanların da güzel vasıflar kazanmasında yardımcı olan model haline gelir.
Çalışmamızda Halvetî Tarikatı şeyhlerinden Askerî mahlaslı Muhammed Gülaboğlu’nun “Askerî Muhammed Dîvânı”nda dînî ve tasavvufî unsurlar incelenmiştir.
Tasavvuf şeriati temel alarak, kalbi tasfiye ve nefsi tezkiye ederek, ta‘at içerisinde bulunarak Allah’ın sıfatlarına, sıfatlarının tecellisine ulaşmaktır. Allah’ın zâtına vuslat etmek için dîn ve tasavvuf yolunda bulunan aşk basamaklarını geçmek gerekmektedir. Askerî Muhammed, divanında dînin emir ve yasaklarını insanlara öğretirken Allah’ın lafz etmiş olduğu (konuştuğu) Kur’ân-ı Kerîm âyetlerini ve hadislerini esas almıştır. Dünyaya meyl etmeyi sevmeyen şair, dünyadan alakayı kesmeyi de önermez. Çünkü dünya Allah’ın tecellisi ile doludur.
Yapılan bu çalışmanın gayesi şeyh ve müderris Askerî Muhammed’in şiirlerinde dîn ve tasavvufun tasavvuf ehlince nasıl algılandığı, bir mutasavvıfın bakış açısıyla dîne ve tasavvufa nasıl yaklaşıldığını incelemek ve gözler önüne sermektir.Religion is the overall system that embodying the belief and prayers, and containing information, orders and bans making the person happy in both worlds. Sufism, however, is the order of ways guiding the person about knowing and learning himself. Tha man of Allah tries to reach the level of the perfect human being, and becomes to be the model that helps the others to gain the good characteristics.
In our study, religious and sufistic elements in the work Askerî Muhammed Council by one of the Halvetî Dervish order Muhammed Gülaboğlu nick named Askerî are analyzed.
Sufism is to reach Allah’s titles and the manifestation of these titles by basing on the religious laws, discharging the heart, referencing the desire and worshipping. You need to pass the love stairs on the way of religion and Sufism to meet Allah. While Askerî Muhammed was teaching the orders and the bans of the religion to the people, he based on the verses of Koran (Allah’s sayings) and the hadith (the sayings of the prophet Muhammed). The poet who does not like fancying the world does not offer to break off the relations with it because the world is full of the manifestations of Allah.
The aim of this study is to analyze and show how the religion and Sufism in the poems of sheik and mudarris Askerî Muhammed are perceived by the master of Sufism and how religion and Sufism are approached from the point of view of a Sufi
