Research progress of digital technology and emerging themes during covid 19 in Malaysia: Bibliometric analysis approach
The covid 19 immediate impact has intensely changed global trends. At the same time, the impact covid 19 has exhilarated research interest among researchers worldwide. In Malaysia, the Movement Control Order (MCO) and travel restrictions enforced by the Malaysian Government in March 2020 have significantly hit Malaysian daily life. Therefore, understanding the topic of interest and broadening collaboration networks is critically important to advance research development. This bibliometric study examines the Covid-19 research trends in Malaysia based on publication output, prominent journals, prominent authors, affiliated countries, and author co-occurrences. Utilizing the Scopus database, 1776 articles were identified and extracted from 2020 until 2021. The result has shown that the number of articles related to Covid 19 in Malaysia significantly increased in 2021, resulting in higher cumulative total publications. Most Covid 19 research publications in Malaysia collaborated with the United Kingdom, Pakistan, and United States. The bibliometric literature in this study have declared that digital technologies have the potential to fulfill customized requirements of COVID-19 pandemic. Thinking about advance technologies and its benefits, this study is going to provide a through literature about the application of advance technologies in real-time. Despite of that, this study also mapped the literature based on topic of interest to understand the benefits and application of these technologies in different areas including pure technology, sustainability, education, tourism, psychology, food and agriculture, and the economy

Developing a Shariah-compliant medical services framework in Malaysia: an expert system approach using fuzzy Delphi method and interpretive structural modelling
Introduction In an increasingly diverse healthcare landscape, addressing the specific needs of Muslim patients has become paramount. The absence of comprehensive frameworks for Shariah-compliant healthcare services often poses challenges for healthcare professionals striving to provide care that aligns with Islamic values.Objective The objective of this study was to develop a comprehensive framework for Shariah-compliant healthcare services, ensuring alignment with Islamic practices in healthcare.Methods, setting, participants This consensus study employed a key input approach using the fuzzy Delphi method (FDM) and interpretive structural modelling. Conducted in Malaysia, the study involved 10 experts from various regions across the country. These experts were selected based on clear criteria that included professionals with experience in Islamic and/or healthcare, while those lacking relevant expertise were excluded.Results The primary outcome was the identification of pertinent elements for the framework, with final elements measured based on expert consensus achieved through FDM. The panel of experts reached consensus on 10 essential elements that form the backbone of the framework for Shariah-compliant healthcare services. These elements include governance, medical ethics, patient care, human resources and professional development, facilities for Islamic worship (ibadah), spiritual care support, end-of-life care, Islamic environment, medicine and drugs, and affordability and accessibility.Conclusion Ultimately, the development of this comprehensive framework is a crucial step in addressing the specific needs and concerns of Muslim patients worldwide. By incorporating the input and consensus of experts from various relevant fields, the resulting framework provides healthcare professionals with a solid foundation to deliver healthcare services that align with Islamic values, ultimately promoting the well-being of Muslim patients in Malaysia and tourists globally
Catalytic conversion of greenhouse gases (CO2 and CH4) to syngas over Ni-based catalyst : Effects of Ce-La promoters
Dry reforming of methane (DRM) is an emerging technology as it can simultaneously serve as a prospective alternative energy source and mitigate greenhouse gases (e.g. CH4 and CO2). However, the industrial applications of DRM remain restricted due to the poor prospect of catalyst deactivation. In this study, the effects of adding CeO2 and La2O3 as promoters on the catalytic performance of Ni/Al2O3 catalyst were assessed. Catalysts such as Ni/Al2O3, Ni/Al2O3-La2O3, and Ni/Al2O3-CeO2 were synthesized at nano level using the sol-gel method. Citric acid was added to improve the reactivity of catalysts before the application of DRM. Various characterisation techniques were used to characterise synthesized catalysts, including Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) analysis, temperature-programmed reduction (TPR), field emission scanning microscopy (FESEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results revealed that the BET surface area of the synthesized catalyst slightly decreased when CeO2 and La2O3 were added due to the deposition on the porous structure of the support. Meanwhile, the XRD results demonstrated the increase in reducibility and dispersion of Ni using CeO2 promoter and the inhibited development of the non-active phase of Ni/Al2O3 using La2O3 promoter (i.e. NiAl2O4), resulting in the carbon formation and reduced efficiency of the catalyst. The catalytic performance in DRM at 800 °C showed that Ni/Al2O3-CeO2 catalyst exhibited higher catalytic performance in terms of CH4 and CO2 conversion with 89.6% and 91.2% respectively. While Ni/Al2O3-La2O3 was found to play a substantial role in the stability of the chemical reaction during the 8 h reaction time-on-stream. © 2020 The Author(s
