The performance of B. bassiana as a bioinsecticide of rangeland grasshoppers was compared to Sevin 4-Oil. Experimental plots were 40 acres located in Slope County, ND. Each treatment was replicated 4 times arranged in a CRD. B. bassiana and Sevin were aerially applied on 10 and 11 Jul 1993, respectively. Grasshopper densities were estimated with the use of 0.1 m2 aluminum rings. Near the center of each plot, 40 rings were placed 5 m apart in a 64 m diam circle.</jats:p

No full textEl trabajo titulado "Control de Dermanyssus gallinae con 4 productos ectoparasitarios: Bolfo, Sevin, Diazil y Phulgón, en Cavia porcellus "cuy", en la Estación Experimental Canaán INIA - Ayacucho a 2720 m. s. n. m. que se llevó a cabo en la granja de cuyes del Instituto Nacional de Investigación Agraria, distrito de Ayacucho, provincia de Huamanga y departamento de Ayacucho, entre los meses de octubre del 2000 al mes de abril del 2001. El objetivo principal fue determinar el grado de efectividad de los antiparasitarios: Bolfo, Sevin, Phulgón y Diazil, sobre Dermanyssus gallinae en cuyes, también promover alternativas de control por un largo periodo para evitar mayor mortalidad en los cuyes. Se utilizaron 74 cuyes entre machos y hembras procedentes de líneas mejoradas destetados (38 días de edad), infestados masivamente (+++), (más de 1000 ácaros) con Dermanyssus gallinae. Los tratamientos fueron: T1 = Bolfo. T2 = Phulgón. T3 = Sevin al 85 %. T4 = Diazil Los resultados obtenidos a través del análisis estadísticos a los diferentes tratamientos, nos muestran que estos son significativos diferentes entre si. Es decir el efecto de cada uno de los diferentes principios activos difiere de cada uno de los demás. Estos resultados nos demuestran que el tratamiento con Bolfo plus, tuvo un poder residual, que se prolongó hasta las 26 semanas, después de la aplicación del tratamiento, el número final de ectoparásitos fue menor en los animales sometidos a este producto, y se observó un incremento de peso vivo. El tratamiento con Diazil, cuyo poder residual duró hasta la 24 semanas, el Sevin 85 %, cuyo poder residual duró hasta las 22 semanas; y al fnal se encuentra el Phulgón, que duró 20 semanas, en cuyos animales la carga parasitaria fue mayor.Tesi
