The Impact of Economic Diversification on Economic Growth: Econometric Study Using Panel Data Model on the Arab Countries from 1999 to 2020
No full text This research aims to examine the relationship between economic diversification and economic growth by applying the panel data model to six oil and non-oil Arab countries: Algeria, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia and Morocco, Egypt during the period (1999-2020). The results of the study confirmed that the fixed effects model was the appropriate model to test this impact. Its results showed a positive impact between the economic diversification and growth variables and that the relative impact of the services sector was greater than that of industry and agriculture, while the joint integration results showed a lack of long-run relationship between the variables in the model

No full textEl trabajo pretende una reflexión de carácter bifocal, teórica y práctica, sobre la difusión y la transferencia de tecnologías, asignando importancia equivalente a ambos procesos complementarios, ya que en opinión del autor —y ello conforma una de las tesis de partida del trabajo— en el ámbito del hábitat popular latinoamericano la difusión de tecnologías tiene un largo y fructífero camino por recorrer, con la particularidad añadida de que se trata de procesos muy al alcance de todos.El trabajo se presenta materialmente dividido en dos partes íntimamente conexionadas. La reflexión teórica sobre la difusión y la transferencia pretende una actualización del tema de la mano de autores e instituciones de reconocida autoridad. Se trata de un tema que está en franca evolución. Bajo esta perspectiva se aborda lo que se entiende por tecnología e innovación; procesos de innovación; modalidades de difusión y transferencia, e incluso algunos conceptos de vanguardia como "desempaquetado" detecnologías, reingeniería, excedentes de investigación y capacidad de absorción, entre otros.AbstractThis paper work allows to a theoretical, practical and bifocal analysis about the technologies transference and diffusion, giving equivalent importance to both complementary processes, due to the author opinion –which conforms one of the work beginning thesis– in the scope of the Latin-American popular habitat thetechnologies diffusion has a long and productive path to go, with the added particularity that is about processes reachable for everyone.The paper work is presented divided in two parts close related. The theoretical analysis about the diffusion and the transference pretends an updating of the subject by authors and institutionsof recognized authority. It is about a subject that is in evolution.
