Transcriptions for Mixed Woodwind Ensembles of Come Raggio Di Sol Sebben Crudele and Alma Del Core
The three seventeenth century songs, Come Raggio Di Sol, Sebben, Crudele, and Alma Del Core, are vocal solos. They were written by the Italian writer, Antonio Caldara. They have been arranged for mixed woodwind ensemble in the following manner:
Come Raggio Di Sol and Alma Del Core for Mixed Woodwind Quintet and Sebben, Crudele for Mixed Woodwind Sextet
The purpose of these arrangements is to show the techniques involved in orchestrating for mixed woodwind ensembles. It is hoped that the transcriptions along with the recordings can be used by other musicians
