Emma Custis Interview
Scott Galloway interviews Emma Custis, a 21-year-old senior student that studies anthropology and history, via Zoom about the impact of COVID-19 on her life. Due to a family situation, Emma was fully online in the spring of 2020 even before UCF went virtual. She discusses her prior experience to the pandemic, including working as a classroom aide at a childcare center, and her participation within the student government. Her position as chief secretary meant that she was heavily involved within the student government scene aiding people in the legislation. She was also served as Deputy of Senate Relations and then Senate President. While talking about the political or student government aspect of her life, Emma also covers her time as a student and her attempts at dealing with the pandemic. Emma talks about the impact the pandemic had on her social life and the ways she still connected with both members of SG and friends. Emma remains optimistic about the potential vaccine that can lead to people finding some guidance in these troubled times
