    The collection contains a questionnaire filled out by Lilly Schock regarding her life in Austria before World War II, emigration from Austria to the United States, and life in the United States. Also included are birth certificates; citizenship and residency certificates; school certificates; marriage certificates; and affadavit in lieu of passport issued by the United States consulate general in Havana.Lilly Schock (née Lebenhardt) was born on April 30, 1913, in Vienna. She married Ernst Schock in 1937. In 1938, they received visas for Mexico, but they were not allowed to enter the country. They continued on to Havanna, they were taken from the boat by a member of the JDC. They stayed in Cuba for two years.
