    Built in 1880 at the Detroit Dry Dock Company, the "City of Sarnia" was christened the "Garland". She ferried passengers between Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario, Canada. In 1923 she was renamed the "City of Sarnia" and sailed between Port Huron, Michigan and Sarnia, Ontario. The "City of Sarnia" sank at the dock at Port Huron in 1945
