Social anxiety of students of the Faculty of Social work at University of Ljubljana during the Covid-19 epidemic
Izvedla sem kvantitativno raziskavo, v kateri sem preverila svoja raziskovalna vprašanja in hipoteze. In my diploma thesis, I researched the social anxiety of male and female students of the Faculty of Social Work during the Covid-19 epidemic. The epidemic has greatly changed our lives. The measures mainly limited the lives of students. From my experience, I saw that the epidemic affected the mental health of young people, but I also heard many times that they felt socially anxious, so I wanted to check this situation. In my diploma, I first presented the theoretical part, where I browsed the literature. I presented social anxiety, its symptoms - mainly on the physical, emotional, behavioral and cognitive levels, factors, development and help techniques. Then I moved on to the subject of the epidemic, measures and help for students. Finally, I researched social work in extreme situations, the techniques used and the differences between the first and second wave of the epidemic. Since I included only students of the Faculty of Social Work in my research, I was also able to check what kind of experience they had with social work responding to emergency situations.
I conducted a quantitative research in which I tested my research questions and hypotheses. The results of an online survey among students of the Faculty of Social Work showed that more than half of the students noticed social anxiety during the epidemic. But after checking individual symptoms on an emotional, behavioral, cognitive and physical level, no significant difference was found between the experience of social anxiety before and during the epidemic. For the most part, they did not seek help. They were satisfied with both their study practice and the effectiveness of social work\u27s response to emergency situations. The role of helper during the epidemic helped alleviate their own social anxiety

V začetnem delu magistrskega dela je predstavljen Andrej Rozman Roza in njegova biografija.
V jedrnem delu magistrskega dela so analizirana vsa prozna dela Andreja Rozmana Roze po metodi analiziranja iz dela Poetika slikanice (2013) Dragice Haramije in Janje Batič. Razdeljena so v dve skupini glede na oblikovne značilnosti: slikanice: Krava, ki jo je pasel Mihec (1999), Balon velikan (2001), Najbolj dolgočasna knjiga na svetu (2001) in O začaranem žabcu (2019), in ilustrirane knjige: Skrivnost špurkov (1997), Kako je Oskar postal detektiv (2007), Gospod Filodendron (2011), Gospod Filodendron in Marsovci (2011), Gospod Filodendron in nogomet (2012), Čofli (2012) in Predpravljice in popovedke (2015). Dela so razdeljena še na podskupine glede na književno vrsto.
Analizirano je vsako delo posebej, v zaključku so skupne točke in ugotovitve povezane v smiseln zaključek.The master\u27s thesis contains an analysis of children\u27s prose work of contemporary author Andrej Rozman Roza. Andrej Rozman Roza is a writer, poet, playwright and an actor. He is a versatile contemporary author, who uses his humour and style of writing to enthuse children, the youth as well as adults. His works are original and of high quality, which is why he is a recipient of many literary awards.
The initial part of the master\u27s thesis focuses on Andrej Rozman Roza and his biography.
The core of the thesis places the emphasis on the analysis of all prose works of Andrej Rozman Roza by the method of analysis from Poetika slikanice (2013) by Dragica Haramija and Janja Batič. The prose works are divided into two groups in accordance with their stylistic features: picture booksKrava, ki jo je pasel Mihec (1999), Balon velikan (2001), Najbolj dolgočasna knjiga na svetu (2001) and O začaranem žabcu (2019)and illustrated booksSkrivnost špurkov (1997), Kako je Oskar postal detektiv (2007), Gospod Filodendron (2011), Gospod Filodendron in Marsovci (2011), Gospod Filodendron in nogomet (2012), Čofli (2012) in Predpravljice in popovedke (2015). Furthermore, the works are then divided into sub-groups according to their literary type.
Each work is analysed separately. In the end, findings and common points form an insightful conclusion of the thesis

Do CYP2D6 genotypes affect oxycodone dose, pharmacokinetics, pain, and adverse effects in cancer?
Aims: To examine the associations between CYP2D6 and CYP3A4 polymorphisms, plasma oxycodone and metabolite concentrations, and oxycodone response (dose, pain scores, and adverse effects) in people with pain from advanced cancer. Patients & Methods: This multi-center prospective cohort study included clinical data, questionnaires (pain and adverse effects), and blood (pharmacokinetics, DNA). Negative binomial regression and logistic regression were used. Results: Within 33 participants, there were no differences in oxycodone response between CYP2D6 intermediate/poor metabolisers compared to normal metabolisers. Higher plasma noroxycodone and noroxycodone/oxycodone concentration ratios had higher odds of uncontrolled average pain (OR 2.44 (95%CI 1.00–5.95), p = 0.05 and OR 10.48 (95%CI 1.42–77.15), p = 0.02, respectively). Conclusions: There was no observed benefit in CYP2D6 genotyping in oxycodone response, however monitoring noroxycodone and oxymorphone concentrations warrant further examination.Aaron K. Opioid Switch Dosing in Chronic Cancer Pain: A Prospective Longitudinal Study
Background: Opioid switching is common, however, conversion tables have limitations. Guidelines suggest postswitch dose reduction, yet, observations show opioid doses may increase postswitch. Objectives: To document the opioid conversion factor postswitch in cancer, and whether pain and adverse effect outcomes differ between switched opioid groups. Design/Setting: This multicenter prospective longitudinal study included people with advanced cancer in Australia. Clinical data (demographics, opioids) and validated instruments (pain, adverse effects) were collected twice, seven days apart. Results: Opioid switch resulted in dose increase (median oral morphine equivalent daily dose 90 mg [interquartile range {IQR} 45–184] to 150 mg [IQR 79–270]), reduced average pain (5.1 [standard deviation {SD} 1.7] to 3.8 [SD 1.6]), and reduced adverse effects. Hydromorphone dose increased 2.5 times (IQR 1.0–3.6) above the original conversion factor used. Conclusions: Opioid switching resulted in overall dose increase, particularly when switching to hydromorphone. Higher preswitch dosing may require higher dose conversion ratios. Dose reduction postswitch risks undertreatment and may not be always appropriate.Aaron K. Wong, Pal Klepstad, Justin P. Rubio, Andrew A. Somogyi, Sara Vogrin, Brian Le, and Jennifer Phili
