Accident risk identification and its impact analyses for strategic construction safety management
The study presented in this paper reviewed 9,358 accidents which occurred in the U.S. construction industry between 2002 and 2011, in order to understand the relationships between the risk factors and injury severity (e.g. fatalities, hospitalized injuries, or non-hospitalized injuries) and to develop a strategic prevention plan to reduce the likelihood of fatalities where an accident is unavoidable.\ud
\ud
The study specifically aims to:\ud
(1) verify the relationships among risk factors, accident types, and injury severity, \ud
(2) determine significant risk factors associated with each accident type that are highly correlated to injury severity, and \ud
(3) analyze the impact of the identified key factors on accident and fatality occurrence. \ud
\ud
The analysis results explained that safety managers’ roles are critical to reducing human-related risks—particularly misjudgement of hazardous situations—through safety training and education, appropriate use of safety devices and proper safety inspection. However, for environment-related factors, the dominant risk factors were different depending on the different accident types. The outcomes of this study will assist safety managers to understand the nature of construction accidents and plan for strategic risk mitigation by prioritizing high frequency risk factors to effectively control accident occurrence and manage the likelihood of fatal injuries on construction sites
FROM PHILOSOPHY TO HO CHI MINH'S IDEOLOGY
Abstract: The article points out that Ho Chi Minh is a typical philosopher whose core is political philosophy, thereby clarifying Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and practicing Ho Chi Minh’s ideology in Vietnam.

The relationship between unsafe working conditions and workers’ behavior and their impacts on injury severity in the U.S.
Unsafe acts of workers (e.g. misjudgment, inappropriate operation) become the major root causes of construction accidents when they are combined with unsafe working conditions (e.g. working surface conditions, weather) on a construction site. The overarching goal of the research presented in this paper is to explore ways to prevent unsafe acts of workers and reduce the likelihood of construction accidents occurring. The study specifically aims to \ud
\ud
(1) understand the relationships between human behavior related and working condition related risk factors, \ud
(2) identify the significant behavior and condition factors and their impacts on accident types (e.g. struck by/against, caught in/between, falling, shock, inhalation/ingestion/absorption, respiratory failure) and injury severity (e.g. fatality, hospitalized, non-hospitalized), and \ud
(3) analyze the fundamental accident-injury relationship on how each accident type contributes to the injury severity. \ud
\ud
The study reviewed 9,358 accidents which occurred in the U.S. construction industry between 2002 and 2011. The large number of accident samples supported reliable statistical analyses. The analysis identified a total of 17 significant correlations between behavior and condition factors and distinguished key risk factors that highly impacted on the determination of accident types and injury severity. The research outcomes will assist safety managers to control specific unsafe acts of workers by eliminating the associated unsafe working conditions and vice versa. They also can prioritize risk factors and pay more attention to controlling them in order to achieve a safer working environment
Infusing digital creativity in design, the low fidelity way
In (industrial) design projects, digital and non-digital aspects are often seen as two separate design 'tracks'. Due to advances in our social and technological context, the hard boundary between the digital and the non-digital is fading. This is a challenge for the designer since he needs to be creative with digital technology without necessarily having a technical background. Using the lillidot method introduced in this paper an exploration was done concerning the feasibility of creating a low fidelity design "kit" in order to facilitate the infusion of digital aspects in design.Industrial DesignIndustrial Design Engineerin
Literature review of climate change impact induced migration
Climate change impacts seem to be clearly over the world, especially, regions vulnerable to climate change and low resilience capacity. Climate change induced migration have also presented in these areas. This paper is the first step of research on human displacement caused by impacts of climate change and reasons making the vulnerable people to move on as well as where migrants resettle. The result of this review shows clearly that climate change is happening in Ho Chi Minh city and people who live in low-lying areas over the world are displacing by their environmental change causing by dreadful weather or climate. The paper used traditional methods to collect and classify materials related to the topic. The research suggests that people will displace because of their likelihood affected by climate change, besides, the review is basic for the author to carry out impact of climate change on Saigonist migration in the future

Can I touch you online?: Reshaping Touch Communication: An Interdisciplinary Research Agenda.
This paper introduces art and research on disrupted, touch in networked environments in which realities merge. Aesthetic sensory disruption and haptic distribution are purposefully designed for reflection, in a new type of ‘dialogue space’. The effects of embodied cognition, with respect to trust and experience, are explored in Artistic Social Labs (ASLs) designed to this purpose. Two ASLs are described in this paper.Green Open Access added to TU Delft Institutional Repository ‘You share, we take care!’ – Taverne project https://www.openaccess.nl/en/you-share-we-take-care Otherwise as indicated in the copyright section: the publisher is the copyright holder of this work and the author uses the Dutch legislation to make this work public.System Engineerin
Chi Square
This resource, created by author David M. Lane, defines and explains Chi square. It takes the user through 5 different categories: testing differences between p and pi, more than two categories, chi-square test of independence, reporting results, exercises. This basic resource provides students with a much greater understanding of this testing process. Overall, it would be good for any statistics classroom
Factors influencing the continuance intention of Momo e-wallet: An empirical study using sem in Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City
The research aims to identify the factors that influence continuance intention towards the MoMo e-wallet of customers living in Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City. This study extends the Theory of Planned Behavior and Technology Acceptance Model by integrating situational normality and security perceptions in fintech adoption. Using a convenient sampling technique, the author has collected data from 248 respondents in Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City, then proceeded to analyze the data to achieve research objectives. Accordingly, descriptive statistics, Cronbach’s Alpha reliability test, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling analysis methods were performed thoughout the thesis. The results reveal that all thirteen hypothesized paths are statistically significant. Out of the accepted results, Trust significantly impacts continuance intention (β = 0.58, p < 0.01), while perceived security has a moderate effect (β = 0.41, p < 0.05), are the most profound because they explain the success of MoMo in the highly competitive market of fintech and banking apps. Also, there is a significant means difference in terms of continuance intention among people in Can Tho City and Ho Chi Minh City
