It will help determine which audio file(s) to download & listen to.In the story collected by Elizabeth Gediman with Sandie Mintz during the Wisconsin Women’s Rowing 50th Anniversary Celebration on Sept. 24, 2022, she shares her experience as a Wisconsin Women rower as part of the oral history collection for the UW Madison Archives project, “50 Years of Wisconsin Women’s Rowing: A Look Back.” Sandie “Dinner” Mintz shared several funny and heartwarming stories, including an injury story infamous among the rowing community at that time. She also shared why she chose Wisconsin, what she studied, and how rowing and coaching in her early career influenced the rest of her life. Additionally, she shared about the funny friendship between the men and women’s teams, the differences between their resources.
