Représentation professionnelle et engagement en situations d’urgence : la question psychosociale
No full textThe disaster which took place in November 1999 in Venezuela was a major opportunity to pose the set of themes of the relationship between the psychologist’s representation, commitment and action. In this paper, the author gathers the reflections from a first analytical approach of present intervention by professional psychologists in their context, who favour either technical activity, or transformation of social reality. Last, the author offers a holistic vision in a psychosocial perspective.La catastrophe survenue au Venezuela en décembre 1999 a constitué une occasion privilégiée pour poser la problématique du rapport entre représentation, engagement et action du psychologue. Dans cet article, l’auteur recueille les réflexions émanant d’une première approche analytique des interventions actuelles des professionnels de la psychologie dans ce contexte, qui privilégient soit l’action technique, soit la transformation de la réalité sociale.
