Letter from Samuel Lee to Alden Partridge, 5 November 1825
Samuel Holden Parsons Lee writes from New York City to Alden Partridge at the American Literary, Scientific, and Military Academy in Middletown, Connecticut; he has heard that his son, William R. Lee, is not boarding at the Commons; asks if William is attending the Academy. Letter possibly refers to William Richard Lee (born 1806), the son of Elizabeth Sullivan and Samuel Holden Parsons Lee and a different student than William Raymond Lee, who was born in 1807 and attended the Academy from 1821-1825.Transcription by Joseph Byrne. Copy print of a portrait of Reverend Samuel VanHook Lee, of Harrison County, Kentucky. Rev. Lee is sitting on a stool holding a bible. He was born January 25, 1800 and died May 22, 1888 , most likely from heart problems. Originally a Baptist minister, Rev. Lee joined the early Christian Church movement around 1832. This print was found in Malinda Duncan Barkley's bible. The Barkley's lived in Haltom City

the purpose of getting the patent for Lot no.30, Concession 2 in Enniskillen. Mr. Woodruff
requests a receipt of that information and he would like to know about the progress on the patent.
