PENGGUNAAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL BENTUK VIDEO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN SOSIOLOGI  X IPS 2 SMA BATIK 1 SURAKARTA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2015/2016. Skripsi. Surakarta: Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta, April 2016.            Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Sosiologi siswa kelas X IPS  2 SMA Batik 1 Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2015/ 2016 melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual bentuk video.            Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPS 2 SMA Batik 1 Surakarta sebanyak 48 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari guru dan siswa. Teknik utama dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes, sementara teknik pendukung dengan menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif.            Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Audio Visual bentuk Video dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Sosiologi siswa kelas X IPS 2 mulai dari hasil belajar pra siklus, siklus I sampai siklus II. Ranah kognitif dari pra siklus 33,33 % meningkat menjadi 58,34% pada siklus I dan kembali meningkat pada siklus II mencapai 87.5%. Ranah afektif diperoleh peningkatan rata-rata prosentase dari siklus I sebesar 72% meningkat menjadi 83.17% pada siklus II. Ranah psikomotor juga mengalami peningkatan rata-rata prosentase dari siklus I sebesar 75% menjadi 83,34% pada siklus II.            Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual tipe video dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas X IPS 2 SMA Batik 1 Surakarta pada tahun pelajaran 2015/ 2016. Kata Kunci: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Media audio Visual bentuk Video, Hasil  Belajar.
