Female Urinary Incontinence (UI) can be treated successfully, often by combining multiple approaches as surgical therapy, pharmacological therapy and pelvic re-education as the three possible ways all well articulated within them [1]. Clinical practice guidelines recommend individualized pelvic floor muscle training as a first-line treatment for stress or mixed UI in women [2,3] and rehabilitation is a good ally for incontinence surgery in women both before and after surgical treatment, also in the light of innovative physical instrumental therapies such as the focused mechano-acoustic vibration. It may represent a novel rehabilitation strategy in alliance with surgery as necessary for strengthening pelvic muscles in mixed UI in women [4-6]. The main preliminary finding of our study respect of forty five (N=45) patients (mean age of 56.10 ± 3.27 years) with mixed UI were encouraging. The patients were divided into 2 groups: the treatment group by mechano-acoustic vibration (Vibration Sound System® - VISS) (TG) (N=23) and a waiting list group (CG) (N=22).

In line with what is defi ned by W.H.O. (World Health Organization) the objective of the work is to observe and defi ne the interconnection between a healthy lifestyle and the quality of life perceived by people. For this purpose, 30 healthy subjects, who had never practiced sports at a competitive level, were recruited. All individuals were evaluated at T0 and T1 through clinical evaluation and specifi c functional tests to defi ne the psycho-physical well-being of the person. For three months they were followed with a personalized diet. Subjects were divided into two randomized groups: group A called experimental that followed the protocol for the duration of the study, and group B said evaluation group that performed only evaluations at the same time as group A. both groups were evaluated twice, the fi rst immediately after the last training session, the second evaluation was performed after 30 days from the fi rst. The objective of the project was to analyze, after three months, the cognitive changes in memory and concentration skills, stress experienced at work or study, and psycho-physical wellbeing perceived by interested parties. The data collected during the evaluations showed that the interconnection between a healthy lifestyle and the quality of life perceived by people is evident
