Una pagina di storia dell'insegnamento della matematica in Italia: le indicazioni per i programmi liceali del 1860
In 1860, at the time of the unification of Italy, important rules regarding the education system were issued. New mathematics syllabus for grammar schools were developed by the mathematician Luigi Cremona (1830-1903). While doing some research in the teaching of mathematics in Italy, the author of this article found an anonymous piece of writing in a school magazine, which can be attributed to Cremona and which is a review of these syllabuses. The piece of writing is here presented in full, introduced by a short preface and complete with a comment

BIBLIOTECA MATEMATICA SARDA DELL'OTTOCENTO
This section of the C.R.S.E.M. site is dedicated to the history of Sardinian publishing on mathematics. A list of works on mathematics written by Sardinian authors or published in Sardinia during the 19th century will gradually be added. The aim is to provide a contribution to the reconstruction of the processes of diffusing mathematics in Sardinia in the past centuries through the identification and cataloguing of essays and treatises on mathematics in Sardinia. Due to a precise methodological choice, all the articles published in specialized journals of the period will be excluded from the list in an initial phase
LE RIFORME CARLO-ALBERTINE DEL 1840 E LA FORMAZIONE MATEMATICA DEGLI AGRIMENSORI E DEGLI ARCHITETTI ALL’UNIVERSITÀ DI CAGLIARI
At the end of the short phase of reform policies that King Carlo Emanuele III had ordered in 1764, the University of Cagliari entered a long period of stagnation. At the beginning of the 19th century, in the climate of difficulties caused by the French invasion of Piedmont and the flight of the Savoia family to Sardinia, the crisis of the University reached its zenith. In this phase, the teaching of mathematical subjects was greatly neglected. It was not until 1840, under King Carlo Alberto, that the study of the exact sciences was started again on the basis of a model that tried to combined university teaching and the theoretical and practical training of architects and land surveyors. This article is on the reforms of 1840 and more in general the teaching of the exact sciences at the University of Cagliari in the years 1840-1860
Dissemination and spread of the mathematical sciences in Sardinia (1720-1848)
This paper outlines the results of a study aimed at charting the spread and development of the mathematical sciences in Sardinia over the period from 1720, the year in which the island was awarded to the Savoy dynasty following the Treaty of The Hague, to 1848, the year in which King Charles Albert of Sardinia placed Sardinia on a level political and administrative footing with the Kingdom‟s mainland territory. In particular, the paper analyses the role played in the transmission and spread of mathematics by the Savoy educational institutions
