    # Zamarada erugata Fletcher, 1974 Zamarada erugata Fletcher, 1974: 46, text-figs 49, 50, pl. 11 figs 495, 406, pl 97 fig. 867. Locus typicus: Mozambique: Makulane, 1909 (Audeoud) (Holotype Ƌ in NHMUK). Literature records. Addis Ababa (Fletcher 1974). Distribution. Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe (Fletcher 1974; Aarvik & Bjørnstad 2007). Remarks. Very likely this report refers to the following new species Z. erugatoides, thus we cancel Z. erugata from the list of Ethiopian species.Published as part of Sciarretta, Andrea & Hausmann, Axel, 2020, The Geometridae of Ethiopia III: genus Zamarada (Lepidoptera: Geometridae Ennominae, Cassymini), pp. 301-328 in Zootaxa 4894 (3) on page 308, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4894.3.1, http://zenodo.org/record/431578

Zamarada shoa Herbulot, 2002 Zamarada shoa Herbulot, 2002: 454, figs 1, 16. Locus typicus: Ethiopie: Shoa, 50 km W. Adis Abeba, IV. I.1998 (leg. Rauten-strauch) (Holotype Ƌ in MND). Literature records. Shoa: 50 km W. Adis Abeba (Herbulot 2002). Remarks. Genitalia as figured in Herbulot (2002) similar to those of Z. melpomene. Further integrative taxonomic study is needed to elucidate constant differential features or potential synonymy. Distribution. Endemic to Ethiopia (Herbulot 2002).Published as part of Sciarretta, Andrea & Hausmann, Axel, 2020, The Geometridae of Ethiopia III: genus Zamarada (Lepidoptera: Geometridae Ennominae, Cassymini), pp. 301-328 in Zootaxa 4894 (3) on page 313, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4894.3.1, http://zenodo.org/record/431578

    Cassymini Holloway 1994

    No full text
Tribe Cassymini Holloway, 1994 Cassymini is a tribe of the subfamily Ennominae established on the basis of some potential synapomorphies such as: a long and slender dorsal process arising from the dorsal margin (costa) of the valva in male genitalia; coremata usually well developed (but sometimes absent), male 8 th sternite unmodified; fovea in male forewings sometimes present; chaetosemata normal; pupa with bifid cremaster (Holloway 1994). The tribe is distributed worldwide, but especially in the Indo-Malayan, Afrotropical and Neotropical regions (cf. Olson et al. 2001). Structurally Cassymini are near to tribes Abraxini, Macariini and Eutoeini, but a revision of Cassymini is needed on the basis of preliminary molecular and morphological phylogeny (Skou & Sihvonen 2015; Murillo-Ramos et al. 2019; Brehm et al. 2019).Published as part of Sciarretta, Andrea & Hausmann, Axel, 2020, The Geometridae of Ethiopia III: genus Zamarada (Lepidoptera: Geometridae Ennominae, Cassymini), pp. 301-328 in Zootaxa 4894 (3) on page 303, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4894.3.1, http://zenodo.org/record/431578
