Prevalence and Characterization of Disease-Causing Bacteria Isolated from Pigeons (Columba livia) in India
Pigeons harbour and spread numerous zoonotic diseases, including bacterial diseases caused by pathogenic bacterial communities. Pigeons are the hosts for various bacteria, including Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus pyogenes. In the present study, pigeon (Columba livia) from farms and houses were subjected to determine the major causative bacterial pathogens. The samples were collected from the oral cavity, cloaca and ocular regions of pigeons. The distribution of bacteria was tested using the plate count agar method, and virulence bacteria were further isolated using a selective agar base. Among the three different sources, cloaca harbours a higher (54) bacteria (p<0.05) than other sources. The prevalence of common bacterial pathogens among pigeon samples was analyzed. Among the characterized bacterial species (E. coli, P. aeruginosa, K. pneumoniae, S. aureus, and S. pyogenes), E. coli was predominant in almost all selected samples, especially cloaca samples. The isolates were characterized based on their growth in selective media, biochemical properties and 16S rDNA gene sequencing
IoT Driven Vehicle License Plate Extraction Approach
The objective of the research paper is to capture the design a Vehicle Number Plate Identification System which can be used to identify and read the license number of any vehicle. The basic process involves taking the image of the front/rear of the vehicle which then gets processed and ultimately the number gets displayed on the LCD. This system can be used for a wide variety of installations and establishments such as entry points of schools, colleges, offices and parking spaces. The camera takes an image which is then processed in PC. The result achieved from this is the license number of the vehicle which is then transmitted via the Wi-Fi module and ultimately displayed on the LCD. The hardware especially can be made more rugged and compact so as to handle all the elements of nature and various environments that it can be used in. </jats:p

Real Time Environment Simulation through Virtual Reality
The primary objective of the work is to develop a simulation which changes its environment based on the outside environment. This is done by getting the input from the sensors and sending it to the cloud platform and then getting the sensor data into the simulation and changing the environment of it.The aim of the work is to design an embedded device which could collect sensor values of environment defining variables like pressure, temperature, altitude and amount of light and use it accordingly to change the environment of the simulation. This was achieved by constructing embedded device which relies on sensors to transmit the reading of environment defining factors to a cloud services provided by Thinkspeak platform. These reading are archived and can be accessed by the android application to change its environment.</jats:p
