No full textThis case study suggests a refection on the subject of ‘Grande decorazione’ in Genoa between the seventeenth and eighteenth century. The essay presents the proposal of a possible Genoese in uence and related patterns in the artistic production of the Scotti family from Intelvi Valley. The Scotti did not work in Genoa, actually. It is however necessary to remind that many artists (sculptors, architects, painters) came to Genoa from the Lombard region and not only during the Baroque era. In particular, the paper focus on the Genoese Domenico Parodi, painter and sculptor. He played a key role in this context, mediating between the local and European artistic tradition of the seventeenth century and the Rococo period
