Bakalaureusetöö
Metsanduse erialalTöö uurimisteemaks on RMK Rulli taimlas kasvatatav metsaistutusmaterjal.
loendati arvukus prooviruutudel. Andmete võrdlemisel kasutati varasemate aastate
uurimistöödest saadud tulemusi Kullenga taimlast (2015) ja Räpina taimlast (2004-2007).
Andmete analüüsil kasutati MS Excelit. Töö eesmärgiks on anda ülevaade RMK Rulli
samade kasvatusmeetodite kasutamisel. Taimed vastasid keskkonnaministri määrusega
metsa uuendamiseks kasutada lubatud kultiveerimismaterjali kasvuparameetritele
sätestatud miinimumnõuetele. This Paper is focused on the forest planting stock of the State Forest Management
Centre´s (RMK´s) nursery at Rulli outside Tõrva. It was first established what kind of
planting stock was grown there and what methods were used for this purpose. To
estimate heights and abundance of birches and alders in sample plots, measurements
were made. In addition to heights, the growth of three-years old barefoot plants has also
been measured, including abundance enumeration in sample plots. When comparing
data, results of previous studies made on Kullenga nursery (2015) and Räpina nursery
(2004-2007), were used. The author of the Paper has used MS Excel to do some basic
data analysis. The aim of this Paper is to give an overview of technologies used for
growing the planting stock and its results of RMK´s nursery at Rulli.
Barefoot plants of spruces, birches and alders are grown at Rulli nursery. It was in
autumn 2017 when first containerized spruce seedlings were planted into the field there.
The Paper shows that plants grown in nurseries are of the same quality than these in
other nurseries, they even grow higher compared to other nurseries which use the same
growing methods. Plants met minimum requirements laid down by the regulation of
Minister for environment for growth parameters of planting stock that may be used for
reforestation

RULLI/a Photon Counting Imager
The Remote Low Light Imaging (RULLI) system responds to individual photons using a modification to conventional image intensifier technology and fast timing electronics. Each photon received at the detector is resolved in three dimensions (X, Y, and time). The accumulation of photons over time allows the system to image with very low light levels, such as starlight illumination. Using a low power pulsed laser and very fine time discrimination, three dimensional imaging has been accomplished with a vertical resolution of five cm
Remote ultra-low light imaging (RULLI) for Space Situational Awareness (SSA): Modeling and simulation results for passive and active SSA
Remote Ultra-Low Light Imaging detectors are photon limited detectors developed at Los Alamos National Laboratories. RULLI detectors provide a very high degree of temporal resolution for the arrival times of detected photoevents, but saturate at a photo-detection rate of about 106 photo-events per second. Rather than recording a conventional image, such as output by a charged coupled device (CCD) camera, the RULLI detector outputs a data stream consisting of the two-dimensional location, and time of arrival of each detected photo-electron. Hence, there is no need to select a specific exposure time to accumulate photo-events prior to the data collection with a RULLI detector - this quantity can be optimized in post processing. RULLI detectors have lower peak quantum efficiency (from as low as 5% to perhaps as much as 40% with modern photocathode technology) than back-illuminated CCD\u27s (80% or higher). As a result of these factors, and the associated analyses of signal and noise, we have found that RULLI detectors can play two key new roles in SSA: passive imaging of exceedingly dim objects, and three-dimensional imaging of objects illuminated with an appropriate pulsed laser. In this paper we describe the RULLI detection model, compare it to a conventional CCD detection model, and present analytic and simulation results to show the limits of performance of RULLI detectors used for SSA applications at AMOS field site
