No full textA numerical procedure is proposed to analyze the equilibrium configurations of non-
circular axisymmetric plasmas. This procedure allows to assign (at least, approximately) the
spatial toroidal current-density distribution within a fixed boundary plasma without'a-
priori'specifying the function A (psi) and B (psi). In addition, the procedure permits the
