Photograph of the Terrace Star that sunk near Green Cape Lighthouse, Disaster Bay near Eden, about 4 a.m. Two men Guy Robert and Orlaf (Ollie) Mannes, both strong surfers jumped overboard and swam out to sea away from the break. Both men were lost. The third man Dustin Garret, stayed on the boat, and when he did go into the water was hauled in on a rope by the lighthouse keeper. Photograph was taken early morning from the boat, Tanilba Bay. Many Eden boats went to look for the lost men
