PIL E ATTIVITÀ ILLECITE IL PARADOSSO DELLA CRESCITA ECONOMICA.
Prostituzione, contrabbando, droga, ecco la nuova ricetta della crescita economica. Lo scopo di questo confronto, anche un po' provocatorio, è quello di studiare il nuovo calcolo del PIL e di analizzare le diverse sfaccettature di tale calcolo. Comprendere il nuovo computo del PIL è importante anche per le valutazioni digli andamenti dell'economia, che vengono presi in considerazione, ad esempio, dall'Osservatorio Commercialisti, oppure per il reale calcolo della pressione fiscale. Da un punto di vista giuridico si crea una certa ambiguità tra illecito ed elementi computabili nella ricchezza di un Paese. Per tali ragioni si rende necessaria una riflessione su cosa sia eticamente e giuridicamente lecito e su cosa si basi la ricchezza di un Paes

Il lavoro descrive l’acquisizione del russo L2 da parte di un gruppo di volontari italiani impegna- ti nell’accoglienza di bambini di lingua russa, concentrandosi su un esercizio di comprensione e produzione orale. I dati evidenziano alcune tracce di morfologia flessiva e la frequente con- trapposizione tra topic e comment. Forse a causa di fattori legati all’input e alla motivazione, il punteggio è più alto in produzione che in comprensione. I risultati sono discussi in termini didattici e acquisizionali
Peculiar Features of Lime-Treated Pyroclastic Soils through a Multi-Scale Experimental Investigation
Soil-improvement techniques with binders are used in several geotechnical engineering applications as a sustainable solution for the reuse of waste soils. Due to their inherent complexity and their mechanical behaviour, pyroclastic soils are generally considered waste geomaterials in their natural state. Lime treatment of pyroclastic soils can be considered a viable solution for their reuse in geotechnical applications. In this paper, some peculiar features of the chemo-physical evolution and mechanical behaviour of lime-treated pyroclastic soils are evidenced through a multi-scale experimental investigation. While, for clayey soils, the fine fraction is mainly responsible for ion exchange and pozzolanic reactions induced by lime, for pyroclastic soils, pozzolanic reactions are dominant processes due to the low quantity of clay minerals along with the abundance of aluminates and silicates as the main constituents of their amorphous phase. The link between the phenomena detected at the microscale level, the mineralogical composition, and the macroscopic behaviour of two lime treated pyroclastic soils of different origin is explored through a multiscale approach
Geotechnical properties of lime stabilised pyroclastic soils
In the paper, some results of an extensive experimental investigation on lime stabilised Italian pyroclastic soils are presented and discussed. In their natural state, these materials present several complexities, starting with their mechanical behavior which is often at the transition between hard soils and weak rocks. These soils are very reactive with calcium oxide (CaO) provided by lime, the effectiveness of the stabilisation mainly depending on the amount of low alkali allumino-silicate glass phase. Nevertheless there is a lack of systematic studies on the suitability of pyroclastic soils to lime stabilisation, and the effects of the treatment parameters on the engineering properties of the stabilised material. Two pyroclastic soils have been considered in this study. The first is a sand with gravel belonging to a pyroclastic flow deposit of the Colli Albani volcanic complex, and the second is a silty sand originated by the late
activity of the Somma-Vesuvius. The results on natural and lime stabilised samples allow to assess the suitability and the effectiveness of lime stabilisation

samples allow an overview of the microstructural features of the material and, as a
consequence, on the suitability and effectiveness of lime stabilisation

In this challenge for the renewal of the deepest meaning of the universities the International Workshop Hong Kong-Palermo promoted by professors Maurizio Carta and Dario Russo of the Department of Architecture together with the colleagues of the prestigious Raffles Institute in Hong Kong is an important step also because it inaugurates an innovative teaching mode in which groups of students and tutors of different cultures meet together on the same topic, mutually enriching their visions and techniques, crossing a new Silk Road between Asia and Europe in which ideas and projects flow
