Guzmán reads “After the Tempest,” two poems titled “Queerodactyl,” “Catrachos,” “Self Portrait According to George W. Bush,” “Loose Boarder Patrol,” and “Colores/Drones,” many of which come from their collection Catrachos. Guzmán also responds to audience questions about the possible references to Aztec culture and the comparison to Spanish culture in Guzmán’s work, how much Honduran territorio is in their work, references for the historical and cultural components for their work, and whether they think their poetry is working toward a pan-Latin or pan-Indigenous movement of togetherness.
