    Locastra viridis Rong & Li, 2017: 724 (Figs 2, 8) Type locality: Xiajinchang, China Diagnosis: L. viridis is very similar to L. muscosalis. The differential diagnosis is discussed under L. muscosalis. Material examined: India, Sikkim, Dodak, 1 ♂, 07.v.2014, R. Ranjan leg. (NZCZSI). Distribution: Indian record: Sikkim (present study). Global record: China (Rong & Li 2017). Remarks: So far, L. viridis has been recorded from China (Xiajinchang).     Stericta corollina sp. nov. (Figs 4, 12, 20) Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. asopialis in the forewing pattern. It can be distinguished from the latter by the uncus slightly wider on basal half, the valva with a small longitudinal flake-shaped harpe at base, and the aedeagus with a bunch of spine-shaped cornuti (Fig. 12). In S. asopialis, the uncus is slightly wider distally, the valva has a narrow harpe bearing two long spines in the middle, and the aedeagus has a nail-shaped cornutus (Fig. 13). Description. Adult (Fig. 4). Wingspan 16.0–18.0 mm. Head grayish white, mixed with black scales. Male labial palpus grayish white, mixed with black scales; first segment grayish white on basal half, grayish black on distal half, about 1/3 length of second, thicker than second; second segment reaching vertex apically; third segment tapering, about 1/2 length of second; female labial palpus with first segment white on basal half, black on distal half, about 1/3 length of second; second segment black, mixed with white scales, reaching vertex apically; third segment white basally and distally, black medially, about 1/2 length of second. Male maxillary palpus long brush-like, pale yellow; female maxillary palpus short, compressed, black. Antenna dark gray on basal half, brownish yellow on distal half, with black annulations on dorsal surface; scape extension apically exceeding metathorax, thickening from base to tip, grayish black, with grayish black scale hairs ventrally and distally. Thorax and tegula black. Forewing with basal 1/4 black, somewhat forming a black patch; median area white, with a black inverted trapezoidal patch on costa; distal 1/4 grayish black; antemedian line absent; postmedian line black, extending from middle of R 5 below costal margin obliquely outward, arched outward between M 1 and CuA 2, then inward to dorsum before tornus, edged with white along its outer margin; discal spot indistinct, merged with basal patch; discocellular spot black, with black fan-shaped erect tuft, just below black inverted trapezoidal costal patch; terminal line gray, with evenly spaced obscure black spots along its inner side. Hindwing with basal half white, distal half gray; postmedian line grayish white, edged with black along its inner margin; cilia of both wings gray. Legs white on inner side; black mixed with white scales on outside; fore and mid tarsi with each tarsomere white at apex. Abdomen white on dorsal surface, white mixed with black scales on ventral surface, black terminally. Male genitalia (Fig. 12). Uncus rectangular, straight on posterior margin, covered with dense setae of varying length dorsally, basal half slightly wider. Gnathos joined from middle, ovate, hooked distally. Valva with basal 3/4 almost uniform in width; distal 1/4 slightly upturned, narrowed to obtuse apex, covered with dense hairs of varying length; costa about 3/4 length of dorsal margin of valva; sacculus weakly sclerotized, about 1/4 length of ventral margin of valva; harpe a small longitudinal flake-shaped process, covered with sparse hairs. Saccus triangular. Juxta U-shaped; lateral lobes narrowed from base to apex. Aedeagus stout, length approximately 2.5 times of width, approximately 4/5 length of valva; cornuti consisting of a bunch of spines. Female genitalia (Fig. 20). Papillae anales triangular, covered with dense hairs of varying length. Eighth sternite rectangular, with sparse long hairs posteriorly. Apophyses anteriores and posteriores both expanded triangularly near base, apophyses anteriores slightly thicker and shorter than apophyses posteriores. Ductus bursae thick, membranous, weakly sclerotized in distal 1/3, with a wide weakly sclerotized ring at basal 1/3. Corpus bursae subrounded, about 1/2 length of ductus bursae; signum ovate, with four teeth forming a crown on posterior margin. Material examined. China.     <i>Stericta digitata</i> sp. nov. (Figs 3, 11, 19) <p> Diagnosis. This species is similar to <i>S. asopialis</i> in the forewing having a white rectangular patch in the median area. It can be distinguished from the latter by the uncus expanded medially, and the valva without a harpe in the middle (Fig. 11). In <i>S. asopialis</i>, the uncus is expanded distally, and the valva has a harpe bearing two long spines (Fig. 13).</p> <p> Description. Adult (Fig. 3). Wingspan 16.0–18.0mm. Head grayish white. Male labial palpus with first segment grayish white on basal half, black on distal half, about 1/3 length of second, thicker than second; second segment white, mixed with grayish black scales, reaching vertex apically; third segment white, mixed with gray and black scales, tapering, slightly shorter than second; female labial palpus slightly thinner than male. Maxillary palpus short, brush-like, upturned, white mixed with gray. Antenna yellowish brown, with black annulations on dorsal surface, in male with short pale gray cilia ventrally; scape extension slender, apically exceeding metathorax, thickening from base to tip, reddish brown mixed with grayish black scales, with long grayish black and reddish brown hairs distally and ventrally. Thorax and tegula reddish brown mixed with white scales, or reddish brown mixed with black scales. Forewing with basal 1/4 black, somewhat forming a black patch, mixed with reddish brown and black scales, with a longitudinal erect black tuft at base of cell; median area with a white rectangular patch, its inner margin straight, outer margin sinuate, anterior margin with a grayish green rectangular patch along costa; distal area grayish green, mixed with black scales; antemedian line absent; postmedian line black, extending from anterior 1/4 of outer margin of median white rectangular patch to dorsum before tornus, sinuate and arched outward medially; discal and discocellular spots black, each with erect tuft, discocellular spot just below grayish green rectangular costal patch; terminal line grayish white, with evenly spaced black rectangular spots along its inner side, interrupted with grayish green on veins; cilia grayish green. Hindwing gray, darkening from base to apex; postmedian line grayish white, ill-defined, arched outward between M 1 and 1A, with a black spot at distal 1/4 of CuA 2; cilia grayish black. Legs yellowish white, femora and tibiae with black scales; tarsi black, fore and mid tarsi with each tarsomere white at apex. Abdomen white mixed with black scales on ventral surface; dorsal surface with 1st segment white mixed with black scales, 2nd to 5th segments white, 6th to 8th segments yellow diffused with black scales.</p> <p>Male genitalia (Fig. 11). Uncus subrectangular, slightly expanded medially, obtuse on posterior margin, covered with dense short hairs. Gnathos joined from middle, hooked distally. Valva subparallel, length about 1.5 times of width, obtuse terminally, covered with long hairs distally; costa about 2/3 length of dorsal margin of valva; sacculus weakly sclerotized, ill-defined. Saccus triangular. Juxta subtrapezoidal, with two short thumbed processes posteriorly. Aedeagus curved medially, distal half with dense denticles; without cornutus.</p> <p>Female genitalia (Fig. 19). Papillae anales triangular, covered with dense long hairs. Eighth sternite subrectangular, membranous medially, with sparse setae posteriorly. Apophyses anteriores slightly shorter than apophyses posteriores, curved inward at basal 1/6 by 150°; apophyses posteriores curved inward at basal 1/3 by 120°. Ductus bursae membranous, with a wide weakly sclerotized ring at basal 1/4. Corpus bursae ovate, slightly shorter than ductus bursae; signum small and round.</p> <p>Material examined. China. This species is similar to L. insulsalis (Lederer, 1863) in the male genitalia, but can be distinguished by the uncus with lanceolate, edge-serrulated process lateromedially, sacculus with a dorsal process, and median plate of the valva sublunate (Fig. 24). In L. insulsalis, the lateral process of the uncus is needle-shaped, the sacculus has two dorsal processes, and the weakly sclerotized median plate is subquadrate (Fig. 27). Description. Adult (Fig. 8) wingspan 25.0–27.0 mm. Head white. Male labial palpus yellow mixed with reddish-fuscous and black; first segment about 1/6 length of second; second segment curved dorsad, appressed to vertex, hollowed out on inner side to receive long brush-like maxillary palpus; third segment black, tapering, about 1/7 length of second. Male maxillary palpus long brush-like, white. Male antenna yellow fuscous, mixed with black on dorsal surface, serrulate on ventral surface; scape extension apically reaching metathorax, reddish fuscous mixed with brownish yellow, basal half with long yellowish white hair-like scales ventrally, with long yellow hair-like scales apically. Thorax and tegula yellowish white mixed with black. Forewing with basal area dark gray, suffused with yellowish-white scales; median area pale pink mixed with yellow and black; distal area fuscous mixed with black, with white strips along veins, edged with black along both sides; antemedian line black, extending from basal 2/5 of costal margin obliquely inward to base of CuA 2, then inward to basal 1/4 of dorsum, edged with pale pink fascia along inner margin; postmedian line black, extending from distal 2/5 of costal margin slightly arched outward to CuA 1, then oblique inward to distal 1/3 of dorsum, edged with pale pink fascia along inner and outer margins; subterminal line dark gray, extending from distal 1/3 of costal margin outward to CuA 1, then oblique inward to distal 1/5 of dorsum, edged with yellow fascia along inner margin and pale pink fascia along outer margin; ill-defined, fuscous, rectangular patch from basal 1/4 of CuA 2 to middle of dorsum; cell with indistinct white hair-like scales running from base below lower margin of cell to middle of antemedian line; discal spot absent; discocellular spot represented by a black tuft of hair-like scales, brownish yellow on inner side, white on outer side; terminal line yellowish white. Hindwing concolorous with forewing; dark gray patch from below base of lower margin of cell to dorsum, with tuft medially, mixed white and black scales; yellow suffused with black fascia from base of Rs to dorsum, with fuscous tufts; black hair-like scales between M 1 and M 2, and between 1A and 2A longitudinally; cilia of both wings pale brownish yellow. Fore- and midlegs pale yellow, femora and tibiae suffused with fuscous scales, tarsi brownish yellow except each tarsomere yellow at apex; hindleg pale yellow. Male genitalia (Fig. 24). Uncus sub-quadrate, covered with dense short hairs dorsally, with an elongate, lanceolate, edge-serrulated process lateromedially. Gnathos lateral arm widely, joined apically; distal process quadrate, trifurcate apically. Valva rhomboid, with long hairs, slightly narrowed at basal 1/3, concave terminally; sclerotized median plate sub-lunate, joined with apex of sacculus posteriorly; costa reaching apex of valva. Sacculus about 3/4 length of ventral margin of valva, basal 2/3 almost uniformly wide, distal 1/3 much narrow; dorsal process at middle, sub-triangular, trifurcate apically. Juxta vase-shaped; lateral lobes obliquely straight on outer margin, slightly sinuate on inner margin, pointed at apex. Phallus about 4/5 length of ventral margin of valva, curved at basal 2/5; cornutus short, spine-shaped. Female unknown. Distribution. China (Yunnan). Etymology. It can be distinguished from L. plinthochroa in the male genitalia by the trifurcate, distal process of the gnathos, outer dorsal process of the sacculus about 2/3 the length of the inner one, and outer margin of the median plate of the valva obtusely rounded; in the female genitalia by the entirely membranous ductus bursae about 1/2 the length of the corpus bursae; in L. plinthochroa, the distal process of the gnathos is hooked, outer dorsal process is about 1/3 the length of the inner one, and outer margin of the median plate is strongly produced to a lobe (Wang et al. 2017, Fig. 20); and in the female the basally sclerotized ductus bursae is about 1.2 times as long as the corpus bursae (Wang et al. 2017, Fig. 30). The differences between L. strumiformis and L. zhengi are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species. Description. Adult (Fig. 3) wingspan 20.0–25.0 mm. Head yellowish white. Forewing with basal area black, suffused with yellowish white scales; median area pale pink mixed with yellow and black; distal area fuscous, along veins with white strips edged by black along both sides; costal margin yellow, with black scales scattered to postmedian line; antemedian line black, extending from basal 2/5 of costal margin slightly obliquely inward to lower margin of cell, then inward to basal 1/4 of dorsum, edged with pale pink fascia along inner margin; postmedian line black, extending from distal 1/3 of costal margin slightly arched inward to base of M 3, then slightly obliquely inward to distal 1/3 of dorsum, edged with pale pink fascia along both inner and outer margins; subterminal line fuscous, extending from distal 1/4 of costal margin slightly arched outward to distal 1/5 of dorsum, edged with wide yellow fascia along inner margin and narrow pale pink fascia along outer margin; cell with a longitudinal yellow fascia from middle to anterior 1/3 of antemedian line, with a black tuft from base of lower margin to antemedian line; yellowish fuscous patch from base of CuA 2 to middle of dorsum; discal spot absent; discocellular spot represented by a black tuft, brownish yellow on outer side; terminal line yellowish white. Hindwing concolorous with forewing; blackish-gray patch from below base of cell to dorsum, with a tuft of black mixed with white scales medially; wide yellow fascia extending from base of Rs to middle of dorsum, suffused with yellowish fuscous tufts; black hair-like scales between M 1 and M 2 and between 1A and 2A longitudinally. Cilia of both wings pale, brownish-yellow. Legs pale yellow, fore- and mid-femora and tibiae suffused with fuscous scales, fore tarsus with longitudinal fuscous strips. Abdomen white on ventral surface; yellow on dorsal surface, suffused with fuscous and black scales, each segment yellowish-white terminally. Male genitalia (Fig. 34). Uncus broad, sub-quadrate, covered with short setae dorsally. Gnathos lateral arms narrowly banded, joined apically; distal process trifurcate. Valva narrow basally, widened distally, obtuse terminally, covered with sparse hairs, tuberculate ventroapically; weakly sclerotized median plate umbraculiformis, oblique outward, widened posteriorly, widely fused with sacculus posteriorly; costa reaching apex of valva, distal 1/3 slightly expanded. Sacculus reaching apex of ventral margin of valva; dorsal process at middle, bilobed: inner lobe slender, arched outward, outer lobe slightly curved inward distally, about 2/3 length of inner lobe, thicker. Juxta subrounded; lateral lobes broad, slightly narrowed to pointed apex. Saccus U-shaped. Phallus slightly curved medially, slightly longer than ventral margin of valva, with denticles on distal 1/6; with one spine-shaped cornutus. Female genitalia (Fig. 46). Papillae anales sub-triangular, obtuse posteriorly, with long setae. Ovipositor with sclerotized sub-rectangular plate anteriorly. Eighth segment rectangular, sternite narrowed medially, about 1/2 width of lateral margin, with sparse short setae posteriorly. Apophyses anteriores about equal length of apophyses posteriores. Lamella antevaginalis sub-rhomboid, shallowly concave medially. Antrum inverted trapezoidal. Ductus bursae membranous. K Teng <i>et al</i>., slide No. RH 15273.</p> <p> <b>Diagnosis.</b> This species is similar to <i>L. variegata</i> (Moore, 1888) in both wing pattern and male genitalia, but can be distinguished by the strong and curved, lateral process equal to the width of the posterior margin of the uncus, gnathos with distal process hooked, sclerotized median plate obtusely rounded on outer margin (Fig. 37). In <i>L. variegata</i>, the slender lateral process of the uncus is not curved and about 3/4 the width of the posterior margin of the uncus, distal process of the gnathos is trifurcate, and sclerotized median plate is flattened on outer margin (Fig. 36).</p> <p> <b>Description.</b> Adult (Fig. 21) wingspan 31.0 mm. Head brownish yellow. This species is similar to L. sichuanensis Wang, Chen & Wu, 2017 in the male genitalia, but it can be distinguished by the sacculus with a sub-triangular dorsal process serrulate on the outer margin, a median plate rounded on the outer margin, and phallus equal to the ventral margin of the valva, and lack of a cornutus (Fig. 32); in L. sichuanensis, the dorsal process of the spine-shaped sacculus is smooth on the outer margin, median plate is truncated on the outer margin, and phallus is about 4/5 the length of the ventral margin of the valva, and has one cornutus (Fig. 33). Description. Adult (Fig. 17) wingspan 20.0–21.0 mm. Head yellowish white.
