Concept and development of an autonomous wearable micro-fluidic platform for real time pH sweat analysis

    No full text
In this work the development of an autonomous, robust and wearable micro-fluidic platform capable of performing on-line analysis of pH in sweat is discussed. Through the means of an optical detection system based on a surface mount light emitting diode (SMD LED) and a light photo sensor as a detector, a wearable system was achieved in which real-time monitoring of sweat pH was performed during 55 minutes of cycling activity. We have shown how through systems engineering, integrating miniaturised electrical components, and by improving the micro-fluidic chip characteristics, the wearability, reliability and performance of the micro-fluidic platform was significantly improved

The given article offers an analysis of the amendments made to the Constitution of Russia in 2020. The author conducted an analysis of the reasons of the past reform, its course and features. The author comes to the conclusion that the shortcomings of the 1993 Constitution, adopted in the context of a political crisis, doomed it to change. In the new socio-political conditions of the 2010-20’s, the Russian authorities decided for the first time to establish communication with the society, which forced them to propose a procedure for a popular vote on amendments and support the value of “unconditional sovereignty” as a goal of constitutional changes. Having received approval to change the Constitution, the political regime of Vladimir Putin, being a compromise between the transnational and national elites, announced a new stage of state-building. Will the opportunity become a reality? The answer to this question depends on the future socio-economic course of the Russian authorities.
