Anastrepha spatulata Stone Figs. 15, 28, 39 Distribution. This species was previously recorded from USA (Texas), Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia and Venezuela (Jirón et al. 1988, Norrbom et al. 1999, Mengual et al. 2017). The basis for the previous record from Colombia (Martínez-Alava & Serna 2004) was not indicated, but the examined specimen confirms this species' occurrence in Colombia. Specimen examined.
