Well-posedness in vector optimization and scalarization results
No full textIn this paper, we give a survey on well-posedness notions of Tykhonov's type for vector optimization problems and the links between them with respect to the classification proposed by Miglierina, Molho and Rocca in [33]. We consider also the notions of extended well-posedness introduced by X.X. Huang ([19],[20]) in the nonparametric case to complete the hierchical structure characterizing these concepts. Finally we propose a review of some theoretical results in vector optimization mainly related to different notions of scalarizing functions, linear and nonlinear, introduced in the last decades, to simplify the study of various well-posedness properties.

S. Lucibello - Sapienza Università di Roma, Dipartimento PDTA – Planning, Design, Technology of
Architecture e F. La Rocca - Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli, Dipartimento DICDEA – Ingegneria
Civile, Design, Edilizia e Ambiente), sviluppata con l’obiettivo di leggere, attraverso la lente dell’innovazione
e dell’utopia, “i caratteri peculiari” del “nuovo” design italiano dal 2000 ad oggi.
La ricerca “Innovazione e Utopia per il design italiano”, si pone in continuità con quella nazionale coordinata
dal dipartimento PDTA della Sapienza “Comunicare il design italiano: innovazione per cultura” (2011), a cui
hanno partecipato il Politecnico di Milano, Università IUAV di Venezia, II Università degli Studi di Napoli,
Università di Firenze, Università degli Studi di Genova (responsabile scientifico: T. Paris, coordinamento
scientifico nazionale: S. Lucibello e V. Cristallo).
Tra i risultati principali dell’analisi, la messa in evidenzia di una particolare capacità del design italiano di fare
innovazione non basandosi su ingenti economiche, bensì sull’attitudine visionarie in grado, ieri come oggi, di
prefigurare un cambiamento nel nostro modo di osservare, percepire e perché no, immaginare il futuro.This paper describes the results of the research "Innovazione e Utopia nel design italiano" (scientific
coordinators: S. Lucibello - Sapienza University of Rome, Department PDTA - Planning, Design, Technology
of Architecture and F. La Rocca - Second University of Naples, Department DICDEA - Civil Engineering,
Design, Construction and Environment), developed with the goal of reading, through the lens of innovation
and utopia, "the main characters" of the new Italian design (since 2000).
The Research "Innovation and Utopia for Italian design", s in continuity with the National Research
coordinated by the PDTA Dep. of Sapienza "Comunicare il design italiano: innovazione per cultura" (2011),
which was attended by the Politecnico di Milano, University IUAV Venice, II University of Naples, University
of Florence, University of Genoa (project leader: T. Paris, national scientific coordination: S. Lucibello and V.
Cristallo).
Among the main results of the analysis, commissioning highlights of a particular ability of Italian design to
innovate not relying on substantial economic, but on the attitude visionary capable, past and present, to
imagine the future

No full textMore and more, knowledge of the world around us comes through hearing (Schafer 1992). While sight, privileged until now, has been able to develop highly sophisticated tools and techniques to store, manipu- late and interpret perceived data, hearing is still “in its infancy” in its approach to the world (Mayr 2014). In fact, the soundscape is still struggling with tools and methods of verification (Mayr 2014) alt- hough, because of this vagueness, it stands out as an interesting field of multidisciplinary investigation (Rocca 2012; Rocca 2013; Galassetti Galfetti, Rocca, 2014; Rocca 2013). In outlining a synthetic, functional, theoretical framework to delineate the key concepts which will be de- veloped in this research project, it is very useful to remember the “Ca- reggi Landscape Declaration on Soundscape” which, referring to the European Landscape Convention, defines soundscape as:
«The acoustic properties of any landscape in relation to the percep- tion of a specific species . . . [are] the result of phenomena and dynam- ics which are physical (geophonic), biological (biophonic) and human (anthrophonic)» (UNISCAPE, 2012).
The acoustic property has within itself a more objective compo- nent (measurable and comparable in terms of noise pollution) as well as a more subjective one (directly anchored in the perception of the individual and the community, and so in the very concept of “land- scape”). Recalling this duality, the geographer Geneva Raffesten (2007) highlights the distinction between territory – «material reality», a result of continuous changes, subject to recurrent alteration – and landscape, defined as: «immaterial reality which, by contrast, is the result of a pro- cess of mental production, originating from a human gaze, in turn me- diated by different languages . . . the expression of a break in time: it is a “snap-shot”» (Raffestin 2007)
