El presente estudio revela los dibujos privados de algunos de los monumentos medievales leoneses realizados por Inocencio Redondo Garci-Ibáñez y Jaime Serra Gibert en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX. Estos documentos gráficos constituyen una valiosa fuente de información para el conocimiento del devenir del patrimonio medieval de la provincia de León, así como de sus dibujantes y los contextos y circunstancias en los que estos se llevaron a cabo.
AbstractThe present study reveals the private drawings made by Inocencio Redondo Garci-Ibáñezand Jaime Serra Gibert of some Leonese medieval monuments during the second half of the 19thcentury. These graphic documents are a valuable source of information for the knowledge of thereality of the history of the medieval heritage of the province of León, as well as its draftsmenand the contexts and circumstances in which these were made.

No full textNos dias 10 e 11 de Maio de 2018 decorreu na Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal, em Lisboa, o Simpósio Internacional Jaime Cortesão: escritos e geografias do exílio. Este Simpósio propôs-se reunir os mais recentes resultados da investigação que vem sendo realizada em torno da obra do autor de Alexandre de Gusmão e o Tratado de Madrid e da História do Brasil nos velhos mapas. Pretendeu-se também aprofundar o conhecimento sobre os sucessivos contextos de exílio que Jaime Cortesão enfrentou na Europa e no Brasil durante mais de 30 anos, com destaque para aqueles que decorreram na Espanha republicana e no Rio de Janeiro das décadas de 1940 e 1950. Esta iniciativa foi ainda pensada como uma oportunidade para reflectir sobre o importante legado de Cortesão enquanto editor e tradutor, assim como para analisar o estado actual dos projectos de edição da sua obra, tanto em Portugal como no Brasil.On the 10th and 11th of May 2018, the International Symposium Jaime Cortesão: writings and geographies of exile took place at the National Library of Portugal, in Lisbon. This Symposium set out to bring together the most recent results of the investigation that has been carried out around the work of the author of Alexandre de Gusmão and the Treaty of Madrid and the History of Brazil in old maps. It was also intended to deepen knowledge about the successive contexts of exile that Jaime Cortesão faced in Europe and Brazil for more than 30 years, with emphasis on those that took place in Republican Spain and in Rio de Janeiro in the 1940s and 1950s. The initiative was also conceived as an opportunity to reflect on Cortesão's important legacy as an editor and translator, as well as to analyze the current status of publishing projects for his work, both in Portugal and in Brazil.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Urban development and education: Disruption and transformation in a confessional educational institution in Capão Redondo
No full textA pesquisa irá percorrer o desenvolvimento do chamado sertão de Santo Amaro, o crescimento do bairro do Capão Redondo e a sua relação com uma instituição educacional. No início do século XX a região era coberta apenas por pequenas propriedades rurais. Em 1915, em uma fazenda na beira da Estrada de Itapecerica, foi fundada a primeira instituição do bairro: o Seminário Adventista. Em decorrência disso, a região viu surgir novas casas e ruas com a chegada de famílias de professores e alunos, movimento que marcou o início do bairro. A partir dos anos 1960, verifica-se que o crescimento exponencial da população de São Paulo passa a ocasionar a ocupação e expansão das partes periféricas da cidade. Esta ocupação fez com que a zona sul da cidade e o bairro do Capão Redondo, antes formado por pequenas propriedades rurais, fosse em poucos anos ocupado desordenadamente por habitações populares. Em função disso, ocorreu a desapropriação de grande parte da propriedade da instituição, abrindo espaço para a construção de conjuntos habitacionais organizados pela Prefeitura. Esta desapropriação causou uma grande ruptura na gestão da instituição. O objeto desta pesquisa será a relação entre o bairro e a instituição nas décadas de 1970 e 1980, período que ocorreram as principais mudanças na região, e que impulsionaram rupturas no papel social da instituição, bem como transformações nos serviços oferecidos.The research will explore the development of the so-called hinterland of Santo Amaro, the growth of the Capão Redondo neighborhood, and its relationship with an educational institution. At the beginning of the 20th century, the region was covered only by small rural properties. In 1915, on a farm on the edge of Itapecerica Road, the first institution of the neighborhood was founded: the Adventist Seminary. As a result, the region saw the emergence of new houses and streets with the arrival of teachers\' and students\' families, a movement that marked the beginning of the neighborhood. From the 1960s onwards, it is observed that the exponential growth of São Paulo\'s population began to cause the occupation and expansion of the peripheral parts of the city. This occupation led to the southern zone of the city and the Capão Redondo neighborhood, once formed by small rural properties, being disorderly occupied by popular housing in a few years. As a result, a large part of the institution\'s property was expropriated, making room for the construction of housing estates organized by the City Hall. This expropriation caused a major disruption in the management of the institution. The object of this research will be the relationship between the neighborhood and the institution in the 1970s and 1990s, a period in which the main changes in the region occurred, driving ruptures in the social role of the institution, as well as transformations in the services offered
