Oral History Interview with Jacqueline Raymond
The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Jacqueline Raymond. Raymond was born in Biddeford, Maine in 1931. She and her family moved to the Philippines in December of 1939, as her father was employed by a textile company. She speaks about life on the islands before the war broke out. After the Japanese invaded, Raymond and her family were taken to the Santo Tomas Internment Camp, and later to the Los Baños Internment Camp. They remained imprisoned from late 1941 through their liberation in February of 1945
