MAGNETOELECTRIC EFFECTS IN FERROMAGNETIC/PIEZOELECTRIC MULTILAYER COMPOSITES
The observation of strong magnetoelectric effects is reported in thick film bilayers and multilayers of ferrite-lead titanate zirconate (PZT) and lanthanum nanganite-PZT. The ferrites used in our studies included pure and zinc substituted cobalt-, nickel- and lithium ferrites. Samples were prepared by sintering 10-40 µm thick films obtained by tape-casting. Measurements of ME voltage coefficients at 10-1000 Hz indicated a giant ME effect in nickel ferrite-PZT, but a relatively weak coupling in other ferrite-PZT and manganite-PZT systems. Multilayers prepared by hot pressing was found to show a higher ME coefficient than sintered samples. Evidence was found for enhancement in ME coefficients when Zn was substituted in ferrites. The Zn-assisted increase was attributed to low anisotropy and high permeability that resulted in favorable magneto-mechanical coupling in the composites. We analyzed the data in terms of our recent comprehensive theory that takes into account actual interface conditions by introducing an interface coupling parameter. Theoretical longitudinal and transverse ME voltage coefficients for unclamped and clamped samples are in general agreement with data. From the analysis we inferred excellent interface coupling for nickel zinc ferrite-PZT and weak coupling for other layered systems
A TEST-LOGIC SCHEME FOR LARGE SCALE INDUSTRIAL STRATEGY USING CHANNELS
ATE funnel bandwidth management for SoC designs can enjoy a vital role in growing test data compression without any visible effect on test application time. Many SoC-based test schemes suggested to date utilize dedicated instrumentation, including test access mechanisms (TAMs) and test wrappers. The assumption is that cores within the SoC are generally heterogeneous modules, or wrapped testable units, and they have their individual EDT-based compression logic, that is subsequently interfaced with ATE with an enhanced quantity of channels. Bandwidth management mitigates the dependence of core channels on the amount of available nick-level pins, enables automatic scheduling of tests by looking into making it transparent towards the users, and considerably improves test planning fundamentally level. This paradigm clearly requires efficient schemes minimizing the general test application time, while considering physical constraints, particularly, SoC pin allocations. It seems, however, that the amount of test configurations, and therefore the quantity of control data one should employ and transfer between your ATE and DSR address registers, may visibly impact test scheduling and also the resultant test time. Using SDV figures in designing a DSR is outstanding by itself, particularly when all SoC cores get their ATPG patterns ready. Still, the precise PC for every core might not continually be offered at the DSR design stage. The suggested solutions include methods accustomed to deliver control data and test scheduling algorithms minimizing the general test application time
A New Standalone Photovoltaic Inverter Configuration with Low Harmonic Distortion under the Partially Shaded Condition
This paper proposes a new standalone photovoltaic (PV) inverter topology for optimal solar power usage, which includes a new maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique based on shading pattern analysis utilizing an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), SIMO converter, and multilayer inverter (MLI). The suggested MPPT scheme is tested in partially shaded conditions. The PV voltage is then sent to the SIMO converter, which generates four distinct voltages (V1, V2, V3, and V4). The MLI reduces harmonic distortion by converting the SIMO converter’s dc output voltage to ac. Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) are employed in traditional systems to reduce harmonic distortion by 3.24 %. Photovoltaic inverter configuration using ANFIS is proposed in this paper. The ANFIS reduces overall harmonic distortion by 2.04 %, which is significantly better than the ANN. This MLI has eight switching devices and delivers 31-level ac output voltage with very low harmonic distortion. The particle swarm optimization (PSO), MPPT scheme harvests maximum power in any weather condition, and MLI feeds the utility, which is a key aspect, linked with the proposed topology. The performance of the MLI and converter is programmed using an FPGA Spartan trainer kit

Economics and Marketing of Aromatic Rice - A Case Study of Chhattisgarh
In recent years there has been a serious concern among the farmers, scientists, policymakers and environmentalists regarding the continuous erosion of genetic biodiversity of rice cultivars in Chhattisgarh which has traditionally been known as bowl of scented rices in central India. In view of India’s potential competitiveness in aromatic rices in the international market, it is imperative to understand the dynamics of domestic trade in aromatic rice. In this study, marketing and price-spread patterns of aromatic rice in the state of Chhattisgarh have been examined. A few policy interventions have been suggested for promoting aromatic rices in the state.Crop Production/Industries, Marketing,

Conservation of fauna of Seshachalam Biosphere Reserve – An overview
The Indian Government has established 18 Biosphere reserves in India which protect larger areas of natural habitat and often include one or more National parks. Seshachalam hills, the first Biosphere Reserve in Andhra Pradesh, is located in southern Eastern Ghats of Chittoor and Kadapa districts. It is the richest floristic hot spot harboring many endemic and rare plants. Five Gecko species were recorded in this reserve, out of that the Golden Gecko Calodactylodes aureus are rare and endemic species in the biosphere reserve.12 species of lizards and 22 species of snakes are found Seshachalam Biosphere. The protection of habitat is an important aspect in the conservation of such species. The biospheres are sites where protection is granted to the flora and fauna of the protected region. Each biosphere reserve is intended to fulfil 3 basic functions such as conservative, development and logistic functions. The Wildlife is a potential source of useful products of global interest. Wildlife is nature’s gift and its decline has an adverse effect on ecology and hence there is an urgent need to protect the Wildlife. An awareness should be developed among the general public about the proper management and the necessity of conservation of natural ecosystem and wild Communities of plants and animals they contain. To ensure this certain legal steps are to be taken up by the Government to regulate the exploitation of Wildlife

Development of a multiplex DNA-based traceability tool for crop plant materials
The authenticity of food is of increasing importance for producers, retailers and consumers. All groups benefit from the correct labelling of the contents of food products. Producers and retailers want to guarantee the origin of their products and check for adulteration with cheaper or inferior ingredients. Consumers are also more demanding about the origin of their food for various socioeconomic reasons. In contrast to this increasing demand, correct labelling has become much more complex because of global transportation networks of raw materials and processed food products. Within the European integrated research project ‘Tracing the origin of food’ (TRACE), a DNA-based multiplex detection tool was developed—the padlock probe ligation and microarray detection (PPLMD) tool. In this paper, this method is extended to a 15-plex traceability tool with a focus on products of commercial importance such as the emmer wheat Farro della Garfagnana (FdG) and Basmati rice. The specificity of 14 plant-related padlock probes was determined and initially validated in mixtures comprising seven or nine plant species/varieties. One nucleotide difference in target sequence was sufficient for the distinction between the presence or absence of a specific target. At least 5% FdG or Basmati rice was detected in mixtures with cheaper bread wheat or non-fragrant rice, respectively. The results suggested that even lower levels of (un-)intentional adulteration could be detected. PPLMD has been shown to be a useful tool for the detection of fraudulent/intentional admixtures in premium foods and is ready for the monitoring of correct labelling of premium foods worldwide
Edge Intelligence with Light Weight CNN Model for Surface Defect Detection in Manufacturing Industry
178-184Surface defect identification is essential for maintaining and improving the quality of industrial products. However,
numerous environmental factors, including reflection, radiance, light, and material, affect the defect detection process,
considerably increasing the difficulty of detecting surface defects. Deep Learning, a part of Artificial intelligence, can
detect surface defects in the industrial sector. However, conventional deep learning techniques are heavy in terms of
expensive GPU requirements to support massive computations during the defect detection process.CondenseNetV2, a
Lightweight CNN-based model, which performs well on microscopic defect inspection, and can be operated on lowfrequency
edge devices, was proposed in this research. It provides sufficient feature extractions with little computational
overhead by reusing a set of the existing Sparse Feature Reactivation module. The training data are subjected to data
augmentation techniques, and the hyper-parameters of the proposed model are fine-tuned with transfer learning. The model
was tested extensively with two real datasets while running on an edge device (NVIDIA Jetson Xavier Nx SOM). The
experiment results confirm that the projected model can efficiently detect the faults in the real-world environment while
reliably and robustly diagnosing them
