BIODIVERSITY OF MACROINVERTEBRATES IN A STREAM OF MOUNT EDOUGH (NORTHEASTERN, ALGERIA)
No full textThe current study seeks to evaluate the biodiversity and the structure of the onstream macroinvertebrates community assemblage in Edough Mountain in north-eastern Algeria. Data was collected between April and June 2019 along a mountain stream, from its source to its outlet, with analysis of some physico - chemical parameters. After capturing 906 specimens, we were able to identify 08 taxonomic orders and 35 taxonomic families. The results showed that the richest and most abundant families are Dytiscidae (Coleoptera) and Corixidae (Heteroptera)
