Therefore from both theoritical and clinical periodontological point of view it is useful to coordinate and correlate neurogenic inflammation and periodontal disease. This review focuses on biosynthesis & classification of neuropeptides , role of tachykinins particularly substance – P & Neurokinin A in initiating & sustaining character of periodontal inflammation
