Cloacina beveridgei sp.nov. Type host: Dorcopsis muelleri (Lesson) (Mammalia: Macropodidae). Type locality: District Kaimana, West Papua, Indonesia (1°6S, 130°51 E). Site of infection: Stomach. Collector: Nanang Supriatna Type specimens: Holotype male, allotype female (MZBNa 827); paratypes, males and females (MZBNa 828). Date of collection: November 2014. Etymology: The species epithet is dedicated to Prof. Em. Ian Beveridge, an outstanding parasitologist contributing to the taxonomy of Nematoda of macropodid marsupials. General— Small nematodes, cuticular surface with transverse striations. Leaf crown elements 8 in number, recurved at tips. Cephalic end with cephalic collar extended laterally, with 2 amphids and 4 submedian cephalic papillae, projecting anteriorly from perioral cuticle. Buccal capsule wider than deep. Papillae consisting of 2 segments, proximal segment rectangular, 4.6 long, distal segment ovoid, 7.2 long. Nerve ring anterior 1/3, deirid posterior to nerve ring, excretory pore at mid-length of esophagus. Esophagus unornamented, short, wider at posterior end. Male (n=14)—Body length 5.242 (3.902 –5.880), maximum width 265 (260–340). Buccal capsule 42 (30–50) wide, 24 (18–28) long. Nerve ring, deirid, and excretory pore from cephalic end 266 (200–320), 315 (301–388), 493 (433–670) respectively. Esophagus 578 (520–640). Bursa short, lobes indistinct. Ventro-ventral and latero-ventral rays apposed, long, slender, reaching bursal margin; externo-lateral ray stout, divergent, shorter than other lateral rays reaching bursal margin; medio-lateral and postero-lateral rays apposed, slender, reach bursal margin; externodorsal ray robust, arising adjacent to lateral trunk, not reaching bursal margin; dorsal ray broad at origin, becoming thinner after lateral branchlets arise at mid-length, and at the tip, not reaching bursal margin. Spicules slender, long, almost 1/3 of body length, transversely striated, length of spicules 2.17 (2.00–2.41) mm. Gubernaculum small, trapezoidal in shape, 30 (23–48). Female (n=20)—Body length 5.65 (4.96–6.58) mm, maximum width 321 (260–410). Buccal capsule 52 (43– 65) wide, 30 (23–38) long. Nerve ring, deirid, and excretory pore from cephalic end 277 (225–340), 320 (273–408), 498 (450–650), respectively. Esophagus 611 (410–750) long, 9.25 % of BL. Vulva close to anus, 242 (220–290) from tip of tail. Vagina vera 844 (722–930) long, recurrent, vagina uterina long and slender 238 (212–270), vestibule and sphincter almost the same length. Tail short, decreasing at mid length, ending in conical tip, 146 (115–210) long. Cervonemella kaimanaensis sp. nov. Type host: Dorcopsis muelleri (Lesson) (Mammalia: Macropodidae). Type locality: District Kaimana, West Papua, Indonesia (1°6S, 130°51 E). Site of infection: Stomach. Type specimens: Holotype male, allotype female (MZBNa 829); paratypes, males and females (MZBNa 830). Date of collection: November 2014. Etymology: This species is named after the district in which the host was found. General— Small nematodes with transverse cuticular annulations, 10.6–10.8 apart. Cervical cuticle slightly inflated to beyond level of excretory pore. Cephalic collar present. Cephalic extremity with 2 lateral amphids and 4 prominent submedian papillae. Mouth opening surrounded by 8 leaf crown elements. Submedian cephalic papillae prominent, 4.6 long, projecting anteriorly then laterally from peri-oral cuticle; proximal segment 3.5 long, longer than ovoid distal segment, 1.1 long. Esophagus slender, elongate, and simple, posterior end forming elevated bulb and surrounded by intestinal diverticula. Deirids at the anterior of nerve ring, filiform, 85 long. Male (n=10)—Total body length 6.60 (5.25–7.75) mm, maximum width in mid body 296 (230–350). Buccal capsule 18 (13–20) deep, 17 (11–18) wide. Esophagus length 729 (640–870) long. Deirids, nerve ring, and excretory pore from cephalic end 118 (85–145), 284 (213–350), and 372 (330–420) respectively. Bursa wider than long. Dorsal ray broad at origin, narrowing posteriorly; external branchlets arising at ½ length; immediately before major bifurcation; as long as internals, though more robust, not reaching margin of bursa. Externodorsal ray arising close to lateral rays, not reaching margin of bursa. Posterolateral and ventrolateral rays fused, reaching margin of bursa Anterolateral ray divergent, not reaching margin of bursa. Ventrolateral and ventroventral rays fused, reaching margin of bursa, longer than other rays. Spicule simple with blunt, slightly curved tips with prominently ribbed alae terminating anterior to tip, length 2.40 (2.10–2.86) mm. Gubernaculum heavily sclerotised, ovoid in shape 21 (20–23) long x 34 (30–38) wide. Female (n=34)—Total body length 7.37 (6.27–8.74) mm, maximum width in mid body 349 (220–410). Buccal capsule 17 (13–20) deep x 18 (15–20) wide. Esophagus 759 (650–900) long. Deirids, nerve ring, and excretory pore from cephalic end 126 (98–140), 275 (205–348), and 383 (325–480), respectively. Tail short, simple, conical 243 (220–282) long. Vulva 344 (320–390) from posterior end.
