También critica figuras locales y eventos recientes, destacando su descontento con la situación. No full textEl objetivo de este trabajo es reconstruir las tensiones políticas entre una oligarquía eclesiástica local, centrada en el Cabildo metropolitano, y el segundo arzobispo de Lima, Toribio Alfonso de Mogrovejo (1538-1606), y el párroco Alonso de Huerta, uno de sus más fieles colaboradores. Aunque el Cabildo era una especie de senado o consejo permanente al servicio del clero diocesano, en ningún momento actuó como una institución de apoyo a la labor evangélica del Arzobispo Mogrovejo. Muy al contrario, sus miembros cerraron filas contra lo que consideraron una violación de sus privilegios económicos, y en numerosas ocasiones denunciaron al Arzobispo y al párroco Alonso de Huerta por considerar que se entrometían en el fuero interno del Cabildo.The aim of this contribution is the presentation of the political conflicts between the Archbishop of Lima, Toribio Alfonso de Mogrovejo (1538-1606), together with his faithful collaborator the parish priest Alonso de Huerta, and the cathedral

De realizar ejercicios espirituales a Franco, pasó a pisar el barro de la barriada marginal de El Pozo del Tío Raimundo. Trabó amistad con militantes antifranquista y en su entierro se llegó a rezar el rosario y cantar la Internacional. Por su apellido tiene ascendencia extremeña y más concretamente guareñense.The Priest José María de Llanos was one of the most influential priests during the Franco and the transition years. He went from doing spiritual exercises to Franco, to later on step the mud from the slum area in “El Pozo de Tío Raimundo”. He became friend with anti-Franco militants. No full textEl objetivo de este libro es defender la plausibilidad de una aproximación dialetheista a uno de los principales dogmas del cristianismo, la doctrina de la encarnación, según la cual Jesucristo es verdaderamente divino y verdaderamen te humano. La autora sostiene que, de ser esta una teoría dialetheista o contradictoria –y desde su punto de vista hay razones para pensar que lo es–, no se desprendería de ello ningún problema lógico o epistemológico que pudiera afectarla. Para demostrarlo, se propone responder a dos objeciones que se han hecho o podrían hacerse a una postura de esta índole. La primera es la objeción lógica, que en realidad son dos: la de la ilogicidad y la del absurdo lógico. La segunda, que ella ha llamado objeción epistemológica, apunta al hecho de que, de ser una contradicción genuina, la doctrina sería irracional. Su respuesta a estas objeciones está basada en los trabajos de notables autores contemporáneos, como Graham Priest, Jc Beall y James Anderson.The objective of this book is to defend the plausibility of a dialetheist approach to one of the central dogmas of Christianity, the doctrine of the incarnation, according to which Jesus Christ is truly divine and truly human. The author maintains that if this doctrine were a dialetheist or contradictory theory – and, from her perspective, there are reasons to think it is – no logical or epistemological problems would arise that could affect it. To demonstrate this, she proposes to respond to two objections that have been made or could be made to a position of this kind. The first is the logical objection, which is actually two: that of illogicality and that of logical absurdity. The second, which she has called the epistemological objection, points to the fact that the doctrine would be irrational if it were a genuine contradiction. No full textEste trabajo contiene un análisis del Instituto de la Mujer (IM), el principal organismo público de igualdad de la Administración central en España. Al igual que las instituciones feministas de otros países, el IM fue establecido con el propósito de impulsar el establecimiento de políticas que contribuyeran a mejorar la posición de las mujeres en la sociedad. La primera parte del artículo examina el proceso de creación del IM, prestando especial atención al papel desempeñado por el movimiento asociativo de mujeres, así como a la importancia de las influencias internacionales. Se estudian además las principales características formales de la institución. La segunda parte contiene una evaluación (provisional) del impacto del IM en la formulación y puesta en práctica de las políticas de igualdad. Por último, se examinan el carácter y las consecuencias de las relaciones formales e informales existentes entre los miembros del movimiento feminista y del feminismo institucional.Publicad
History and prophecy in the Qumran Pesharim: an examination of the key figures and groups in the Dead Sea Scrolls by way of their prophetic designations.
No full textThe thesis examines the Qumran pesharim and seeks to test the claim that these texts are solely 'historically' based. Instead, it finds that the interpretations are driven by prophetic concerns, founded on and guided by the biblical concept of 'pesher' as dream-interpretation. The study concentrates on the various sobriquets in the pesharim, and is loosely divided into two main parts. Part one examines those designations of groups, including the Kittim, Ephraim and Manasseh, and the Seekers of Smooth Things. Part two, meanwhile, focuses on the interrelationship between the Teacher of Righteousness, the Wicked Priest, and the Man of Falsehood. One of the dominating themes of the thesis is the stress laid on the relationship between the Teacher and the Man of Falsehood, while the thesis also proposes that 'Ephraim' and 'Seekers of Smooth Things' are an offshoot of the Man of Falsehood's original followers. This allows the opposition to this group in 4QpNahum to be properly understood, and suggests a lurk between the Qumran group and the proto-Pharisaic movement. In concluding, the study condemns the suggestion that the 'masking' by sobriquets intentionally conceals these subjects' identity. Rather, such masking links the intended target with prophetic expectations. In short, the thesis finds that although the two are often distinguished in modem scholarship, the correct interpretation of any aspect of the 'historical' pesharim inevitably relies on the understanding of the prophetic term 'pesher' - and vice versa. The thesis does not tackle the issue of the dating of these texts. Rather, it assumes the consensus view that the pesharim were composed during the first century BCE. Occasionally, it will be evident that a text requires a composition before or after a particular date or event, or even that it must postdate another Qumran text, but in general the question has not been an overriding concern
