Michele Taruffo: el magisterio y la obra ejemplares del genial procesalista «todoterreno»
The author reflects on Michele Taruffo’s extraordinarily important contribution to the renewal of both conventional procedural law scholarship and the theoretical background of law-court professionals. Taruffo’s contribution was achieved by means of introducing to mainstream culture in those circles the necessary knowledge of the underlying epistemic dimension, which was traditionally suppressed by the strictly legal one.
Sinus grafting with magnesium-enriched bioceramic granules and autogenous bone: A microcomputed tomographic evaluation of 11 patients
Eleven sinuses were grafted with a magnesium-enriched bioceramic bone substitute in granules (SINTlife) mixed with 10% autogenous bone retrieved from intraoral donor sites. Bone biopsies retrieved after 8 months were visually and quantitatively analyzed with microcomputed tomography (microCT). MicroCT evaluation of the grafted material was feasible, since the radiodensity of the bone substitute was different from the density of mineralized bone. MicroCT showed good integration of the graft in all treated cases. The tested bioceramic bone substitute, mixed with autogenous bone, seemed to have a positive effect in sinus grafting, with values of total mineralized tissue volume around 66%. Residual graft particles occupied 31% of the total volume of the specimen. Particles of the ceramic bone substitute seemed mainly unresorbed. MicroCT analysis evaluated several morphometric parameters, demonstrating that the newly formed bone could be used for placement and loading of implants. © 2010 by Quintessence Publishing Co Inc

Le pene mondane, infatti, non sono qui più riconducibili al peccato, ma si stemperano in una melanconia tutta modernaOriginally located in the courtyard of the Great and New Hospital in Palazzo Sclafani, the Triumph of Death - now housed in the Gallery of Palazzo Abatellis, in Palermo - is an extraordinary medieval and modern iconographic encyclopedia, of which we do not know the author.
Michele Cometa's book is a guide to interpreting the narrative fabric of this formidable fresco. The multiple pictorial and literary sources that make up the plot converge in outlining - evoking the black plague that raged in Europe for more than a century - a sort of iconological refutation of medieval retribution. In fact, worldly pains are no longer attributable to sin, but are dissolved in a wholly modern melancholy
Electrical Load Forecast by Means of LSTM: The Impact of Data Quality
Accurate forecast of aggregate end-users electric load profiles is becoming a hot topic in research for those main issues addressed in many fields such as the electricity services market. Hence, load forecast is an extremely important task which should be understood more in depth. In this research paper, the dependency of the day-ahead load forecast accuracy on the basis of the data typology employed in the training of LSTM has been inspected. A real case study of an Italian industrial load with samples recorded every 15 min for the year 2017 and 2018 was studied. The effect in the load forecast accuracy of different dataset cleaning approaches was investigated. In addition, the Generalised Extreme Studentized Deviate hypothesis testing was introduced to identify the outliers present in the dataset. The populations were constructed on the basis of an autocorrelation analysis that allowed for identifying a weekly correlation of the samples. The accuracy of the prediction obtained from different input dataset has been therefore investigated by calculating the most commonly used error metrics, showing the importance of data processing before employing them for load forecast
