Preston M. Geren, Jr. studying a set of plans with his father, Preston M. Geren, Sr., who began his career as an architectural engineer. This photo was part of a series for Father\u27s Day, the cutline reads Like Father, Like Son. Father\u27s Day is an occasion to pay special homage to the fathers of families. Sometimes called the \u27forgotten men,\u27 fathers are dear to the hearts of sons and daughters, as well as wives. Sons who follow in the footsteps of their fathers hold a special appeal to their fathers. Many times sons develop their own trades or professions, aside from their fathers\u27, but when they do go into the same sort of work, the bond between father and son is strengthened. Today\u27s pictures show a few \u27like father, like son\u27 families in Fort Worth.
