Podaci o konstatovanoj fauni crevnih pantljičara upotpunjuju i potvrđuju dosadašnja sporadična saznanja o njihovom rasprostranjenju u otvorenim vodama Srbije.

The reform and modernisation of public sector based on wide application of information-communication technologies (ICT) is considered as one the key elements of futher development of information society in the Republic of Serbia. The trends of development of many e-Government services for many countries in the world, indicate the necessity of application natural language processing - NLP and in e-Government services Republic of Serbia. When performing many of the natural language processing tasks it is needed that all forms of a word with the same meaning has the same form. In general, many documents that are available e-Government services are not structured, so from them is very difficult to isolate some forms (knowledge) that exist in them. The process of finding useful information from such documents in Serbian language, which normally represents highly inflectional language, is one of the key elements of the modern information society in the Republic of Serbia

© 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC part of Springer Nature. The negative effects of men’s excessive alcohol consumption on family members are well known. However, less is known about how men’s alcohol dependence is associated with the mental health of their female spouses residing with them. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence and factors associated with depression, anxiety, and intimate partner violence against women (IPVAW) whose male spouses are undergoing treatment for alcohol dependence. We hypothesize that men with alcohol dependency, who are also violent, present a serious threat to women’s mental health. We conducted a cross-sectional study among 104 women whose male partners had been admitted for inpatient treatment for alcohol dependence. Women’s depression was measured by the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II); anxiety was measured by the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), and exposure to physical and sexual IPVAW was measured by the Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS-2). Multinomial logistic regression analyses were conducted in order to analyze factors associated with depression and anxiety. The prevalence of moderate/severe depression and anxiety among the women was 34.6% and 25.2%, respectively, while almost half (48.1%) experienced IPV during the past 12 months. After adjustments for age, exposure to IPV increased the chances of experiencing moderate/severe depression by 37.5 times (95% CI 7.91–177.76), and 8.15 times for moderate/severe anxiety (95% CI 2.45–27.14). The mental health of women whose partners have alcohol dependence is significantly threatened and should be considered, especially when it is associated with exposure to spousal violence

The paper presents work carried out with the objective of the implementation of the European Union Water Framework Directive. The data on communities of water organisms, together with the abiotic parameters, are used to define the typology, the type of specifically reference conditions and the ecological status index, which present a basis for establishing a system of monitoring the ecological status/potential of the waters in Serbia. The results of the obtained investigations are used also in the continuation of this work in making a database on the biodiversity of landlocked bodies of water in the territory of Serbia. The investigations include phytoplankton, phytobenthos, aquatic macroinvertebrate, and ichthyofauna, as well as the biological elements used in the process of the implementation of the EU Water Framework Directive. Furthermore, fish parasites are a subject of investigations for the reason that the level of parasite presence could have a significant effect on the structure of the community, and can consequently be used as a biological parameter for the ecological status/potential. The study covers all types of moving water. Field research is conducted with the aim of compiling complete data on certain biological components of moving waters.

    Get PDF
The spectrofluorometric method, based on fluorescence properties of aluminium (III)–hesperidin complex, for the determination of hesperidin in human plasma and pharmaceutical forms has been developed and validated. The complex shows strong emission in the presence of surfactant betain sulfonate SB 12 at 476 nm with excitation at 390 nm. Linearity range in pharmaceutical forms of hesperidin was 0.06 – 24.4 μg mL-1 with LOD 0.016 μg mL-1 and LOQ 0.049 μg mL-1. Recovery values in the range 99.3 – 99.7% indicate good accuracy of the method. A linear dependence of the intensity of fluorescence of the complex on the concentration of hesperidin in plasma was obtained in concentration range from 0.1 – 12.2 μg mL-1. The LOD was 0.032 μg mL-1 while LOQ was 0.096 μg mL-1. Recovery values were in the range 98.4 – 99.8%. The reliability of the method was checked by LC-MS/MS method for plasma samples and HPLC/UV method for tablets with direct determination of hesperidin after separation. Linearity range in determination of hesperidin in pharmaceutical forms was obtained in the range from 0.05 to 10.00 μg mL-1. The LOD was 0.01 μg mL-1 and LOQ was 0.03 μg mL-1. Linearity range in plasma determination of hesperidin was 0.02 – 10.00 μg mL-1 with LOD 0.005 μg mL-1 and LOQ 0.015 μg mL-1. Good agreement between two methods indicate the usability of the proposed spectroflurometric method for the simple, precise and accurate determination of hesperidin in clinical and quality control laboratories
