    Implementation of trust neighbor discovery on securing IPv6 link local communication

    Neighbour Discovery Protocol is a core IPv6 protocol used within the local network to provide functionalities such as Router Discovery and Neighbour Discovery. However, the standard of the protocol does not specify any security mechanism but only recommends the use of either Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) or Secure Neighbor Discovery (SEND) that has drawbacks when used within IPv6 local network. Furthermore, neither is enabled by default in the IPv6 local networkleaving the protocol unsecured. This paper proposes Trust-ND with reduced complexity by combining hard security and soft security approaches to be implemented on securing IPv6 link-local communication. The experimentation results showed that Trust-ND managed to successfully secure the IPv6 Neighbour Discovery. Trust-ND significantly cuts down the time to process NDP messages up to 77.21 ms for solicitation message and 100.732 ms for advertisement message. It also provides additional benefit over regular NDP in terms of data integrity for all Trust-ND messages with the introduction of Trust Option

    Dalam pemeliharaan bibit tanaman buah, memonitor dan pengendalian kondisi parameter dalam greenhouse menjadi sangat krusial. Metode manual yang umumnya digunakan dalam pemantauan dan pengendalian harian terhadap parameter dinilai tidak efektif dan efisien. Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu untuk memberikan edukasi kepada dosen dan mahasiswa mengenai IoT dalam greenhouse. Metode kegiatan ini yaitu observasi, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini merupakan implementasi dari sistem penyiraman ebb and flow otomatis berbasis IoT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem monitoring dapat dipantau selama 24 jam melalui aplikasi berbasis web yaitu AMOR S-FARM dan penyiraman ebb and flow dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pemeliharaan bibit tanaman buah di dalam greenhouse karena sistem kendali bekerja secara otomatis dengan baik sehingga menghemat tenaga dan waktu dalam pemeliharaan bibit.  Dalam pemeliharaan bibit tanaman buah, memonitor dan pengendalian kondisi parameter dalam greenhouse menjadi sangat krusial.     PID optimal control to reduce energy consumption in DC-drive system

    The control system that is widely used in industry is PID (Proportional Integral Derivative). Almost 90% of industries still use PID control systems because of its simplicity, applicability, and reliability. However, the weakness of PID is that it takes a long time to tune. PID control with good performance and low energy consumption can be achieved using GA tuning with the appropriate objective function. The contribution of this paper is to propose the implementation of LQR control in the form of PID using GA tuning with LQR objective function. The proposed algorithm was implemented both in the simulation and hardware which is a mini conveyor with a DC motor. The result shows that the proposed algorithm is better in both IAE and energy consumption compared with other PID tuning, Ziegler–Nichols (ZN), and GA with IAE objective function. Compared with PID ZN, it has IAE and energy reduction by 2.76% and 16.07% respectively. Although its performance is lower than the LQR, it has other advantages that use fewer sensors. The other advantage of the proposed method is, PID is more familiar using. Therefore, it easy to be implemented in the existing system without a lot of changes

    Analisis Topik dan Author pada Jurnal Bahasa Inggris dengan Menggunakan Metode Author-Topik Model dan Gaussian Latent Dirichlet Allocation(GLDA)

    Penggunaan Author-Topic Model telah banyak dilakukan pada bidang machine learning khususnya natural language processing. Metode ini pertama kali digunakan untuk mengetahui bidang penelitian dari seorang penulis dengan melihat topik dari dokumen yang telah ditulisnya. Meskipun model ini banyak digunakan, penerapannya masih memiliki banyak kekurangan. Hal yang paling menonjol adalah ketidakmampuan Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) sebagai dasar dari Author-Topic Model untuk menangkap kata yang belum pernah terlihat dalam data training pada saat melakukan percobaan dari suatu dokumen uji dalam menentukan distribusi kata suatu topik atau biasa disebut out of vocabulary(OOV). OOV membuat topik yang didapat dari suatu dokumen uji tidak sesuai dengan yang diinginkan. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi karena kata-kata penting yang terdapat pada dokumen uji tidak dapat ditangkap oleh LDA. Maka dari itu, pada tugas akhir ini menggunakan Gaussian Latent Dirichlet Allocation (GLDA) pada author-topic model untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada pada LDA dengan mengubah jenis kata menjadi vektor kata. Metode GLDA ini digunakan untuk pembanding dari penelitian sebelumnya. Pembuatan author-topic model terbaik dari kedua metode dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai perplexity dan topic coherence untuk setiap metode. Hasil yang didapat menggambarkan bahwa penggunaan GLDA dapat mendapatkan hasil modelling yang lebih stabil disetiap iterasi. Namun, hasil yang didapatkan dari kemampuan kedua model dalam memberikan prediksi terhadap author dari dokumen baru memiliki persamaan. Pada kedua model terlihat bahwa persentase prediksinya tidak berbeda jauh. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena penggunaan data dengan jenis kata yang terlali sedikit dan pembersihan data yang kurang baik. Sehingga membuat distribusi kata pada setiap topiknya terlihat tidak sesuai dengan topik dari dokumen tersebut. ================================================================================================================================= The use of Author-Topic Model has been widely used in the field of machine learning, especially natural language processing. This method was first used to find out the research field of an author by looking at the topic of the document he had written. Although this model is widely used, its application still has many disadvantages. The most prominent thing is the inability of Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) as the basis of the Author-Topic Model to capture words that have never been seen in training data when conducting experiments from a test document in determining word distribution of a topic or commonly called out of vocabulary (OOV). OOV makes the topic obtained from a test document not as desired. This can happen because the important words contained in the test document cannot be captured by the LDA. Therefore, in this final assignment use the Dirichlet Allocation Latent Gaussian (GLDA) on the author-topic model to solve the problems that exist on the LDA by changing the type of word into a word vector. This GLDA method is used for comparison from previous studies. Making the best author-topic model of the two methods is done by calculating the perplexity value and topic coherence for each method. The results obtained illustrate that the use of GLDA can get more stable modeling results in each iteration. However, the results obtained from the ability of the two models to provide predictions to the author of the new document have similarities. In both models it can be seen that the percentage of predictions is not very different. This is due to too little use of data types and poor data cleaning. so that the distribution of words on each topic does not appear to fit the topic of the document

    Design of automatic control system on pakcoy plant parameters in nutrient film technique hydroponic media

    Technology in agriculture is always developing, one of which is cultivation using hydroponic media. One of the hydroponic cultivation techniques is the hydroponic nutrient film technique (NFT). The hydroponic cultivation of the nutrient film technique is carried out by placing plant roots in a shallow and circulating layer of water. One of the plants that can be used in NFT hydroponic media is the pakcoy mustard plant. During the growth period of pakcoy mustard in the hydroponic nutrient film technique media, parameters such as air temperature, water temperature, water level, water pH, and plant nutrients will greatly affect. The optimal air temperature during the growth of mustard greens is 22-33˚C, water temperature is 25-28˚C, water level is 25-35 cm or depending on the tank used, water pH is 6-7, and plant nutrition is 900-1400 PPM. If the parameter conditions in the hydroponic greenhouse are not in accordance with the optimal limits, the growth of the mustard greens will be stunted or die. In this study an automatic control system was designed using the WEMOS Mega 2560 microcontroller as the control center, DHT22 sensor, MAX6675 sensor, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, PH-4502C sensor, analog TDS sensor, misting pump, peltier, water pump, and mini DC pump. . The results of this study are in the form of sensor reading values consisting of air temperature, water temperature, water level, water pH, and plant nutrients which have been transferred to the microcontroller so that they can be processed to be displayed on the LCD screen and if the sensor reading values do not match the optimal limits then the microcontroller will activate the misting pump, peltier, water pump, and mini DC pump automatically. With the automatic control system, the condition of these parameters can be maintained at optimal limits</span

    Analysis security system performance MIPv6 in signaling process using AES and Twofish algorithms

    Mobile technology has become a necessity for modern society in the digital era. The ease of various information processes is a driving force for the growth of mobile users. To support continuous connectivity, Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) is a solution and successor to the current Mobile IPv4 technology. Mobility in accessing a wide range of services is carried out via the Internet, but activities on the Internet make us vulnerable to various malicious acts. Issues such as information security as well as high overheads are a concern for mobile communications. An encryption mechanism is required throughout the signaling phase to construct security associations to enhance MIPv6 security performance. IPsec offers security services at the network layer. There are three encryption algorithms in IPsec, namely DES, 3DES, and AES. The DES algorithm is no longer recommended due to security factors, while AES is still not optimal in wireless networks. This study aims to analyze the performance of the MIPv6 security system and service quality with the AES and Twofish algorithms. Twofish algorithm is a candidate that has the potential for better performance. The experiment concluded that the performance of the Twofish algorithm is superior based on the security of cryptanalysis attacks with a cracking time that is twice as long as AES. In terms of service quality, Throughput Twofish has an increase of 20.05% with a small delay compared to AES, while packet loss is 0.023% for Twofish and 0.077% for AES. Teknologi seluler menjadi kebutuhan masyarakat modern di era digital, kemudahan berbagai proses pengelolaan informasi menjadi pendorong pertumbuhan pengguna seluler. Untuk mendukung konektivitas berlanjut, Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) menjadi solusi sekaligus penerus teknologi Mobile IPv4 saat ini. Mobilitas akses layanan yang luas dilakukan melalui Internet, namun aktivitas di jaringan Internet membuat kita rentan terhadap berbagai tindakan jahat. Masalah seperti keamanan informasi serta overhead yang tinggi menjadi perhatian komunikasi seluler. Untuk meningkatkan performa keamanan MIPv6, diperlukan metode enkripsi saat proses pensinyalan yang akan membangun asosiasi keamanan. IPsec menawarkan layanan keamanan di lapisan jaringan. Terdapat 3 algoritma enkripsi dalam IPsec, yaitu DES, 3DES, dan AES. Algoritma DES sudah tidak direkomendasikan karena faktor keamanan, sementara AES masih belum optimal dalam jaringan nirkabel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis performa sistem keamanan dan kualitas layanan MIPv6 dengan algoritma AES dan Twofish. Algoritma Twofish merupakan kandidat yang memiliki potensi performa yang lebih baik. Eksperimen berhasil menyimpulkan bahwa performa algoritma Twofish unggul berdasarkan keamanan serangan kriptoanalisis dengan waktu cracking dua kali lebih lama dibandingkan AES. Dari segi kualitas layanan, Throughput Twofish memiliki kenaikan 20,05% dengan delay yang kecil dibanding AES sementara packet loss masing-masing 0,023% pada Twofish dan 0,077% pada AES.</p

    Transformasi pendidikan tinggi di era digital mendorong pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana penggunaan berbagai tools AI, seperti ChatGPT, Copilot, Blackbox AI, dan Gemini, berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar dan pengembangan kompetensi akademik mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik triangulasi melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap 19 mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Informatika angkatan 2023 Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan AI berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi yang bersifat kompleks, menyusun tugas dengan lebih efisien, serta meningkatkan semangat belajar mandiri. Namun, ditemukan pula tantangan seperti risiko plagiarisme, ketergantungan teknologi, dan potensi informasi yang tidak akurat. Oleh karena itu, literasi digital dan edukasi etika penggunaan AI perlu dikuatkan agar mahasiswa dapat memanfaatkan tools AI secara bijak dan bertanggung jawab dalam proses pembelajaran
