Caravaggio, Gramsci and Kipphardt, which he sees as tutelary deities, are their stimuli for the poetic elaboration of his real-life experience

Nel presente saggio si è cercato di rileggere la violenza di Pentesilea come la vendetta di una donna che, proprio perché accetta senza elaborarla la visione maschilista, violenta e possessiva, dell’amore come gliela impone Achille, non può fare altro che vendicarsi dimostrandogli che, pur se ossessionata dall’amore, non può accettare la schiavitù, neanche quella d’amore, né lo stupro continuato di un rapporto coniugale.In the early nineteenth century, with the homonymous tragedy, Heinrich von Kleist takes the figure of Penthesilea, the Amazon warrior, who is turned into an uncontrollable passion-killer unable to enjoy the beloved one if not in a horrific act of necrophilia. In this paper, we tried to reread the violence shown by Penthesilea as the revenge of a woman, who does not accept a sexist vision, a violent and possessive love as imposed to her by Achilles. She does not have other choice but to take revenge by showing that, although obsessed by love, she cannot accept slavery, even that of love, nor the continued rape of a marital relationship

volto più noto del femminismo tedesco, pubblica la sua autobiografia,
Lebenslauf (Curriculum), occasione per ripercorrere le tappe della sua
formazione di giornalista, da apprendista presso un piccolo quotidiano
a libera corrispondente da Parigi durante gli anni delle rivolte studentesche,
fino alla fondazione nel 1977 del suo giornale, «Emma», che
ancora oggi edita e dirige. Intorno all’aspra lotta per la liberalizzazione
e depenalizzazione del reato di aborto le femministe degli anni ’70 si
sottraggono definitivamente alla tutela ideologica dei loro compagni e
danno vita a un Movimento autonomo, pluralista che comincia a incidere
nella dinamica politica. Alice Schwarzer è stata testimone e protagonista
di quella stagione diventando così nel tempo punto di riferimento

training as a journalist, as an apprentice at a small newspaper

until the founding in 1977 of her newspaper, "Emma," which
still she edits and directs. The bitter struggle for liberalization
and decriminalization of abortion feminists of the 70s
