Shaman Magical Communication (A Phenomenology Study on Body Immune Science Rituals)
No full textThis research is based on the existence of a shamanic phenomenon that has long existed and is preserved in the community. Shaman believed by a group of people to have the ability and expertise to help the community in various problems. The experience, ability and expertise of the shaman in Wiratama Village, Penawartama District, Tulang Bawang Regency, Lampung Province, who is usually called Mbah, in handling and helping through alternative ways of problem solving guest had no doubt. The purpose of this study was to understand and explore the magical communication of shamans in immune science rituals. This study uses a phenomenological approach with qualitative methods. The research subjects were traditional healers and guests who had performed immune science rituals in the Lampung area. The selection of informants was carried out in accordance with their experiences, re-revealing their experiences and deepening them. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and document review. Data analysis was carried out by selecting relevant data, describing it and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of this study is the magical communication performed by shamans in immune science rituals
The Role Of Citizen Journalism In Strengthening Journalistic On The @Lampuung Instagram Account
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the role of citizen journalism in strengthening journalistic practices on the Instagram account @lampuung. Citizen journalism allows the public to actively participate in the collection, dissemination, and verification of information. The @lampuung account, as an example of a social media platform applying the concept of citizen journalism, serves as a channel for distributing information involving direct contributions from the public, such as photos, videos, and narrative reports on various issues. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, collecting data through in- depth interviews with citizen journalists who contribute to @lampuung. The results of the study indicates that citizen journalism on the @lampuung account enhances journalistic practices through three key contributions : accelerating the dissemination of local information, enriching the diversity of perspectives in reporting, and increasing public engagement in the information sharing process. In addition, the role of admin is crucial in maintaining the credibility and validity of the content through layered verification processes. Despite challenges such as low media literacy, technical limitations, and the risk of spreading hoaxes, @lampuung has managed to effectively manage public participation, creating a participatory, adaptive, and responsible digital information ecosystem. This research contributes to the understanding of how social media particularly Instagram can serve as a collaborative space between the public and the media in strengthening local journalistic practices in the era of new media
Gajahlah Kebersihan Persuasive Communication Strategy To Change Community Behavior In Managing Waste (Case Study Of The Community In Pasaran Island, Lampung)
Get PDFThe Sustainable Social Innovation Foundation, more commonly known as Gajahlah Kebersihan, is a non-profit organization that encourages young people to take roles in various aspects of community service. One of the community empowerment programs carried out by Gajahlah Kebersihan is to increase community awareness of waste on Pasaran Island. Through this research, the author intends to analyze the persuasive communication strategies implemented by Gajahlah Kebersihan and the obstacles faced in creating a community that is aware and cares about waste on Pasaran Island. The purpose of this research is to uncover and describe the strategies and implementation of persuasive communication by Gajahlah Kebersihan in forming the awareness of the Pasaran Island community towards waste. In this study, because the author wants to describe persuasive communication strategies in increasing community awareness of waste, the appropriate method is qualitative. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews with the Gajahlah Kebersihan team, the local RT leader, and the Pasaran Island community. The results of the data analysis are presented in a descriptive narrative form. The results of the study show that Gajahlah Kebersihan applies psychodynamic persuasive communication strategies, sociocultural persuasion strategies, and the meaning constructions persuasion strategies. The program implemented by Gajahlah Kebersihan begins with research, discussions with the community, and providing education and training. Gajahlah Kebersihan uses association techniques, integration, rewards, and arrangement when interacting with the Pasaran Island community
The Influence of Family Communication on the Independence and Decision-making of the Youngest Child Among 12th-grade Students at SMA Xaverius Bandar Lampung
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the influence of family communication on the independence and decision-making of the youngest child among 12th-grade students at SMA Xaverius Bandar Lampung. The youngest child often treated differently within the family structure, which can influence their ability to develop autonomy and make responsible decisions. Family communication plays a crucial role in shaping a child’s confidence, behavior, and mental readiness in facing various life situations. This study adopts a quantitative research approach with a survey method. Data werw collected through questionnaires distributed to 58 12th-grade students who are the youngest children in their families. The data were the analyzed using multivariate regression to examine the relationship between family communication, independence, and decision-making. The analysis revealed that family communication has a significant effect on both variables. For the independence variable, the t-value was 5,827 with a significance level of 0,000, indicating a statistically significant relationship. Similarly, for the decision-making variable, the t-value was 7,673 with significance of 0,000, confirming a strong influence. Furthermore, simultaneous testing using Wilk’s Lambda resulted in a value of 0,467 with a significance level of 0,000, demonstrating that family communication significantly affects bot independence and decision-making together. Based on these findings, the study concludes that there is a significant positive relationship between effective family communication and the development of independence and decision-making abilities in the youngest child
Analysis of The Governmental Social Media Content Management (Study Accounts of The Directorate General Of Taxes)

In content management, rules and corridors are given to the government agencies to create positive images on public opinions. Directorate General of Taxes, hence forth will be abbreviated into Ditjen Pajak RI, is one of governmental institution which is used social media as official channel of the agencies in informing societies. This study used the constructivist paradigm. It aimed to analyze the management of Ditjen Pajak RI social media by means of the qualitative descriptive method by using The Circular Model of Some initiated by Regina Luttrell, namely Share, Optimize, Manage, and Engage. Data collection methods was conducted by observing, studying literature, exploring data virtually, and interviewing. The result showed that the content management of Ditjen Pajak RI social media account have rules as the corridor of the governmental social media so on the steps of share, optimize, and engage, the tax admin, hence forth will be abbreviated into taxmin, have had the basic reference in creating the content and in interacting inside of it. The optimize step was strongly seen starting from visual concepts with the characteristic of the DITJEN PAJAK RI logo, cooperation with influencers, and various contents. The Contents are created with the message of following the latest trends, delivered formally but unrigidly. The steps of manage, listen and learn as well as social media monitoring was executed manually according to each platform. The created contents is purposefully to educate and to PR in forming the societal awareness

The phenomenon of Doom Spending, which refers to impulsive shopping behavior triggered by stress or economic uncertainty, is increasingly prevalent among younger generations, particularly Gen Z and millennials. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to 60 Karang Taruna members. Data analysis is conducted using simple linear regression to examine the relationship between Shopee Live and Doom Spending. The findings are expected to provide a deeper understanding of how direct interactions in Shopee Live influence impulsive purchasing decisions and offer recommendations to mitigate the negative impacts of Doom Spending behavior

The concept is focused on three discussions, namely denotation, connotation and myth. This research method through an interpretative qualitative approach focuses on signs and text as an object of study and understanding the code behind the song's signs and text. The results showed that interpretatively this Konservatif song had the meaning of describing the life of Indonesian people, especially adolescents at that time. Healthy dating patterns or styles in the sense of not doing bad deeds in dating two people or a couple are described as experiencing a courteous dating moment in compliance with customary norms in Indonesia. Forms of dating or having negative romance have been rampant anywhere, not escaping parental supervision so as to have free association. Existentialist Feminism in Barbie Movie (John Fiske Semiotics Study)
No full textAbstract Existentialist feminism highlights the importance of individual freedom and personal responsibility, and emphasizes women’s struggle in the domestic sphere. The Barbie film is the subject of this research because it can depict and educate about issues of gender equality and feminism to the audience, especially young girls, with strong characters and stories, and has become a symbol that has grown with society. This research aims to understand the ideas of existentialist feminism that are represented and visualized in the Barbie film according to John Fiske's semiotic analysis. The analysis found that this film shows the values of existentialist feminism primarily through aspects of costume, narrative, appearance, conflict, behavior, and music in certain scenes. The most frequently appearing value is supporting women's freedom in constructing themselves.Keywords: Feminism Film Barbie , Women. AbstrakFeminisme eksistensialis menyoroti pentingnya kebebasan individu dan tanggung jawab pribadi, serta menekankan perjuangan perempuan dalam ranah domestik. Film Barbie menjadi objek penelitian ini karena mampu menggambarkan dan mengedukasi tentang isu-isu kesetaraan gender dan feminisme kepada penonton, terutama anak-anak perempuan, dengan karakter dan cerita yang kuat serta menjadi simbol yang telah tumbuh bersama masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ide feminisme eksistensialis yang di representasikan dan divisualisasikan dalam film Barbie menurut analisis semiotika John Fiske. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa film ini menunjukkan nilai feminisme eksistensialis terutama melalui aspek kostum, narasi, penampilan, konflik, perilaku, dan musik dalam adegan-adegan tertentu. Sebagai sebuah inisiasi dalam pendekatan pelaksanaan program CSR yang berangkat dari aspek ekonomi. Rasio Sosial Return on Investment (SROI) sudah cukup besar menghasilkan dampak sosial. Tantangan berikutnya yang sangat penting untuk dilakukan oleh PT. PLN dan stakeholder lainnya adalah menjaga keberlanjutan dan kualitas dari Program PLN peduli. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui rasio hasil perhitungan SROI Program PLN Peduli pada Kelompok Tani Harapan Maju, Desa Bumi Jaya, Kecamatan Candipura, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang merupakan metode untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami makna yang bagi sejumlah individu atau sekelompok orang dianggap berasal dari masalah sosial atau kemanusiaan. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa besarnya dampak yang dihasilkan dari program PLN Peduli adalah sebesar 1,68:1 yang artinya setiap Rp.1 yang diinvestasikan dalam program PLN Peduli pada Kelompok Tani Harapan Maju, Desa Bumi Jaya, Kecamatan Candipura, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan menghasilkan dampak sosial sebesar Rp 1,68 menurut perhitungan SROI

Get PDFThis research is motivated by the emergence of online applications for homosexuals that increasingly show their existence in society. Society has different perceptions about the existence of homosexuals. Related to this, this study aims to determine the symbolic interaction of homosexuals in identifying these partners. For this reason, the researcher chose as research object the homosexual community in the city of Bandar Lampung that has the Walla application. A qualitative approach with the phenomenological method was used in the analysis of this study with the subject of the homosexual community in the city of Bandar Lampung that has the Walla application. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The data validation technique used is the source triangulation technique, and to analyze the data collected is the Miles and Huberman interactive data analysis technique with four steps, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions drawing. Research on homosexuals requires a personal approach if the information obtained is to be accurate. The results of this study show that thephenomenon of homosexual sexual deviance has been growing rapidly and has the courage to open its identity to the public. The symbolic interaction of homosexuals is carried out by giving special symbols so that they can be recognized and identified as homosexuals.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan munculnya aplikasi online kaum homoseksual yang semakin menunjukkan eksistensinya di kalangan masyarakat. Masyarakat memiliki persepsi berbeda-beda pada terkait keberadaaan kaum homoseksual tersebut. Terkait dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi simbolik kaum homoseksual dalam mengidentifikasi sesama kaum tersebut. Untuk itu, peneliti memilih komunitas kaum homoseksual di kota Bandar lampung yang memiliki aplikasi Walla sebagai subjek penelitian. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi digunakan dalam menganalisis penelitian ini dengan subjek pada komunitas homoseksual di kota Bandar lampung yang memiliki aplikasi Walla. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan ialah teknik triangulasi sumber, dan untuk menganalisis data yang sudah terkumpul yaitu dengan teknik analisis data interaktif Miles dan Huberman dengan empat tahap yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian pada kaum homoseksual ini diperlukan pendekatan personal sehingga informasi yang didapatkan bersifat akurat. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa fenomena penyimpangan seksual homoseksual sudah semakin berkembang pesat dan berani untuk membuka identitasnya kepada masyarakat. Interaksi simbolik kaum homoseksual yang dilakukan dengan cara pemberian simbol khusus agar dapat dikenali dan diidentifikasi bahwa mereka adalah kaum homoseksual
